November 2014
October is behind us and the Bonham Chamber of Com-merce packed in a lot of activ-ity into one short month.
Ribbon cutting My Clutter is a new store and chamber member! See the ribbon cutting page for pic-tures and details.
Festival of Flight
The Bonham Festival of Flight
took off in a cloud of smoke!
It is estimated 5-6,000 people
came out to the Jones Field.
Food vendors had a steady
line throughout, especially
the shaved ice truck. Families
kept strolling through the ven-
dor areas checking out the
crafts, arts and merchandise
for sale, and playing on the
blow up slide, pony rides and
the neat military vehicles on
display. The Festival of Flight
owes much of its success to
the leadership of Kate and
Pat Kyer and Stephen and
Staci Murden, but without the
help of the sponsors and vol-
unteers this event would nev-
er get off the ground. Please
see our pages specially dedi-
cated to thanking our spon-
sors and volunteers.
Halloween on the Square We had another great year. Thank you to all the business-es who participated and made this so much fun for the kids.
Lollipops on the Square
Have you business name
prominently displayed around
the square for the duration of
the Christmas season. First
Lollipop goes up November
10th. See below or contact
the chamber to request your
lollipop.
Christmas Parade
We’re jumping ahead of bad
weather and the crazy holiday
rush to bring you the Bonham
Holiday Christmas Parade on
November 21st. In addition to
the parade there will be spe-
cialty shopping on the square
with kid friendly activities
waiting on the corners. See
our Christmas pages for entry
or vendor forms and parade
details.
New Years’ Eve Party – the
Chamber has a family friendly
party planned for you to come
out and ring in the New Year

On October 17th, the Bonham Area Chamber held a ribbon cutting for our newest member
and store front on the square: My Clutter, 403 N Main St.
There was an excellent turn out to welcome Bruce and Gail Burnham to our town and My
Clutter to our business community. Their store and attractive window presentation are great
additions to our square. If you have not already had a chance to browse My Clutter’s shelves,
be sure to swing by and check it out. You may find that unique Christmas gift you just would-
n’t find in a chain store!
Welcome My Clutter!
(R-L) Stephen Murden holds the Ribbon Cutting Certificate. Next the owners:
Bruce and Gail Burnham, and they are flanked by Mayor Roy Floyd.
