Want to help us create exciting events? Help First UU become more of a ?happening place? and promote multi-generational, ethnic, racial, and class diversity at First UU, including greater offerings for events-- among members, attendees and families. The Board has created a new board committee under the co-leadership of Louise Titlow and Laura Ball to administer the Outreach and Growth Fund (OGF) that was created as part of the generous Renewal and Growth Fund donated to the church in late 2021. If you have ideas for the committee, please contact us at [email protected].

New Listening Circles starting for all First UU?ersNow is the right time for us to come together to talk and listen to each other. We are offering Listening Circles starting in November which will be a way to share our thoughts and feelings about what we treasure about our community and what our concerns are. These circles will be facilitated by leaders from our church who have been through training for this program by UUA staff. The process will be open-ended but will lead us toward creating a new Covenant statement, a revived Good Relations Team and learning new techniques of Conflict Resolution for our community. Sign up online or email Rev. Michael [email protected] or text him at 619-488-7969. If you want to consider being a group facilitator, please say so in your message. If you want to understand the role of a facilitator better, Rev. Michael is glad to discuss the role in more detail with you, just contact him as shown above. Now is the time to come together for healing and creating a dynamic new movement forward for our community. Find out more at www.firstuusandiego.org/listening-circles.html.
