Specific: Who, why Why do you want these good grades, why is it important?

Measurable: what What are good grades? These differ among people. All A’s? Maybe B’s and C’s?

Attainable: How far off is your goal from where you are now? Do you

possess the skills? Realistic:

Are you committed to the goal? Is it something you can accomplish?

Time sensitive: When will you know you are done? What is the stopping point?
