Visa There have been many changes to migration regulations announced over the past fewdays which may lead to migration opportunities for many people. Firstly, the Western Australian State Government has announced that they have requestedPerth city be reclassified as a regional area for migration purposes. This will benefit anumber of people including: ・Overseas students completing university courses in WA to stay an extra year・Employers to sponsor workers in a wider range of occupations through the new (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional)) visa (Subclass 494), ・The introduction of the New Skilled Regional Visa subclass 491 which will provide apathway to permanent residency for people who apply for state sponsorship orsponsorship from an eligible relative.
