Instructions

Notify salaried employees who have reached the age of 18 but not 65 and who have normal working hours of at least 8 hours a week (average over a three-month period). See also special cases below.

Insurance will normally apply from the first month of employment A person who is employed as a temporary, trainee, for specific duties or for a specific period, is notified to Collectum when the employment has lasted for three whole, consecutive calendar months. The insurance is then taken out with effect from the month employment started.

Special cases A person not covered by a collective agreement is not included in the ITP and TGL agreements but you can still choose to take out TGL (if you have this with Alecta) and/or ITP for him/her. If you only take out TGL, you state this under complementary information. Also indicate that the insured is not covered by a collective agreement. ITP and/or TGL can be taken out from the notification month at the earliest. Non-collective agreement employees comprise the following categories

the president of a limited company (enclose a validcertificate of incorporation)part owner of a limited company who personally or withspouse, parents or children owns at least 1/3 of the sharesowner of a partnership, partner in a limited partnershipand others of companies that are not legal entities.

Exemptions from ITP If special reasons exist, the ITP Council (Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and PTK) may grant an employee exemption from ITP for a specific employment. Applications should be made on the form Exemption/withdrawal from the ITP Plan at collectum.se. No exemption can be obtained from TGL. If an employee is granted exemption and TGL is part of your agreement with us, we will ensure that TGL is taken out for him/her with Alecta.

How to calculate the employee’s annual salary Does the employee only have a fixed monthly salary? If so, multiply this by 12.2 (regardless of when during the year you notify us about the employee). 0.2 corresponds to a standard holiday supplement.

Does the employee receive remuneration over and above fixed salary? If so, please include

benefits in kind in the form of totally free board orlodging according to the National Tax Boardskatteverket.seremuneration paid to the employee, incl. holidaysupplement, for regular shift work, shift workinghours, emergency service or stand-by during theimmediately preceding calendar yearannual average for variable income components(commission, bonus, production incentives or similar)Add together the remuneration (incl. holiday pay) forthe three immediately preceding years, and divide bythree. If the employee has worked for you for a shorterperiod, decide the amount yourself. However, thenotified salary may not be lower than the employee’sguaranteed annual income.

Other remuneration such as car benefit, compensation for overtime and daily allowances are not included in annual salary.

Employees with annual salary in excess of 10 income base amounts Employees with annual salaries in excess of 10 base amounts can reach an agreement with you about alternative ITP or transfer to ITP 1, or continue to have full ITP with Alecta.If you choose alternative ITP, in addition to this notification you must also complete a notification to the insurance provider for the alternative pension solution, and complete the form Notification of choice of alternative ITP.If you choose transfer to ITP 1, you must complete the form Notification of transfer to ITP 1.Please note that the employee must sign the form if alternative ITP or transfer to ITP 1 is the option chosen.

Important information If alternative ITP or transfer to ITP 1 is to apply from the employment month, notify Collectum within six months from the start of employment. If you submit a notification later, ITP will be taken out in Alecta for the full salary until your notification is received.

An agreement about alternative ITP or transfer to ITP 1 only applies to the employment in question. The employee cannot resume full ITP with Alecta during this employment. When a new employment starts, he/she can resume full ITP with Alecta, or reach a new agreement on alternative ITP or transfer to ITP 1 with the new employer.
