National Water Development Agency, a registered society under the Union Ministry of Water Resources, proposed to fill the two post(s) of Stenographer Grade-III in the NWDA offices under Chief Engineer (North), NWDA, Lucknow by direct recruitment amongst the candidates belonging to General and OBC category.

These posts are temporary, but likely to continue. These posts will be governed by the defined Contribution Pension Scheme i.e. New Pension Scheme as per Government of India guidelines as amended from time to time.

1. Scheme of selection: Test or / and Interview

2. Educational Qualifications:

i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent. ii) Possessing a minimum speed of 80 wpm in English or 60 wpm in Hindi

Shorthand and typing speed of 40 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.

3. Age Limit:

Between 18-27 years (Relaxable for Government Servants/ Employees of Autonomous Bodies up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time)Note: The crucial date for determining age limit shall be closing date for

receipt of application. 4. Submission of Applications: Applications duly filled in the prescribed

5. Other conditions:

(a) The above posts carry allowances, as applicable to Central Govt. Employees of corresponding status with DCRG & Medical facilities, as per the rules of NWDA.

(b) Applications received after the last date shall not be accepted including those not sent through proper channel (in case of serving employees).

(c) Wrong and incomplete application shall be rejected and onus of such rejection would be on the candidate himself.

(d) Travelling Allowance: For candidates belonging to SC / ST, second class railway fare / bus fare by shortest route, as per the relevant rules will be admissible for attending the test / interview.

(e) Canvassing in any manner would lead to rejection of application and candidature at any stage.

(f) Candidates employed in Central / State Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous / Statutory Bodies should forward their application through proper channel.

(g) NWDA reserves the right to rectify any omission in notification.

(h) Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification / requirement as laid down in the advertisement will not vest any right upon the candidate for being called for a test / interview. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

(i) The selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

(j) Vacancies in the posts may increase or decrease.
