¡Trabajando mucho en clase!

Un poco sobre nuestra semana en clase: The preschoolers have started working with vocabulary related to los animales de la granja: la vaca, el cerdo, el caballo, el perro, el gato, etc. The 3s also reviewed shapes by choosing different shapes out of a bag, saying their names and gluing them inside of the matching big shapes on a mural. The PreKs, meanwhile, enjoyed reviewing colors and then coloring by number to reveal a magic picture… una vaca!! The kindergarteners and 1st graders have also continued working with los animales de la granja vocabulary. The Ks loved answering la vaquita when she asked, ¨¿Tienes mascota?¨. Additionally, they enjoyed finishing their cocodrilos and are excited to hang them up! The 1st graders, meanwhile, have enjoyed reviewing colors and playing ¨Veo, veo¨. They also did a super job completing math problems in Spanish in order to figure out their granja paint by number! The 2nd graders have enjoyed talking about traditions related to los cumpleaños and sharing some of their own stories! They´ve also started learning how to express abilities and have had fun asking and answering related questions to each other in front of the class! The 3rd graders have been working hard to learn a whole lot of words used to describe people (physical and character). They had a great time listening to my clues and trying to figure out which student in class I was describing! The 4th graders had fun making their own clocks and then indicating different times as they were called out! The 5th graders, meanwhile, enjoyed comparing and contrasting eating schedules in different countries as well as reviewing los números 100-1,000!
