NOTICE
This is to notify that B.A./B.SC Part-I examination, 2020 under West Bengal State
University will commence on and from 02.12.2020. Due to COVID-19 outbreak,
WBSU has decided to conduct the examination through the online mode. Therefore, all
concerned students are hereby requested to follow the attached regulation and routine
directed and published by WBSU. The students are also requested to contact their
respective departments for the necessary guideline related to the online examination
process.

It has come to the notice of the Examination Section of the
University that some students are yet to fill-in their forms for
Examination of Part-I 2020 (Hons. & Gen.), B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. & B.B.A.
that will start from 2nd
of December, 2020.
The Online portal is being opened for the last time on 18.11.2020 and will
remain open up to 4:00 P.M. November 21st, 2020 (Saturday).
Re appearing form need to be filled in by the same time
for the willing Candidates
No further request for the form fill-in will be entertained after 4:00 P.M.
November 21st, 2020 (Saturday).
Students not satisfied with the mode of Examination may appear in offline mode,

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR UNDER-GRADUATE PART I 2020 EXAMINATIONS (HONS. AND
GENERAL)TO BE HELD DURING THE PANDEMIC CAUSED ON ACCOUNT OF SARS-Cov-2
ESSENTIAL NOTE: STUDENTS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE MODE OF EXAMINATIONS OR RESULTS
THEREUPON MAY SIT FOR OFF-LINE EXAMINATIONS TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITY
AS AND WHEN THE PANDEMIC SITUATION IMPROVES.
1. Students/ Examinees having valid Registration Numbers, Roll Numbers, and possessing Proper Admit Cards may
write the examinations, sitting at home, in accordance with the programmes given on website.
2. Questions will be sent to the students through E-mail, or Whatsapp (WA), or any such mechanism that can be
accessed.
3. Questions will be sent to students before half an hour to start i.e.10 30 AM and 11=00 A.M. (For 1st half General)
1-30 P.M. to 2-00 P.M. (For 2nd
half General) 10-30 A.M. to 11-00 A.M. (For Honours Paper) (there may be a little
variation in time because of connectivity issues) on the dates of examinations or may be downloaded from the
website www.wbsuexams.net and students have to complete submission of written answer-scripts through E-mail/
WA by the same day/ date within 1 hr. after end of exam. time to his/her own College. For example, if the date of
Examination is December 2, 2020; the papers must be submitted by December 2, 2020 by (i) 2 pm For Hons.
papers.
(ii) For General Papers 1st half subjects to be submitted by 2 P.M. and (iii) 2
nd half subject to be submitted by 5
P.M.. At the time of uploading answer-papers please submit a copy of the Admit Card also.
4. Any examinee having difficulty in uploading answer-script may send the written answer-script duly sealed in an
envelope to the respective college office through authorized representative or S/he her/himself may submit the
answer-script on the same day of the date of examination.
5. Students are strongly advised to write answers in their own words.
6. Students may write answers on University-approved answer-papers or they may write on A4 size papers. The
respective college Principals may request the University to get Answer-papers (khatas) on which students may
write their answers.
8. Examinees must write their respective Registration Numbers and Roll Numbers on the top of each page. They are
strongly advised to put page numbers as well.
9. Further advice in respect of examinations will be put on websites. Students are requested to go through the
websites regularly.
10. It is reiterated that STUDENTS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE MODE OF EXAMINATIONS OR RESULTS
THEREUPON MAY SIT FOR OFF-LINE EXAMINATIONS TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITY AS
AND WHEN THE PANDEMIC SITUATION IMPROVES.
