GENERAL RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO THE INTENDING APPLICANTS

1. Details of the applicants and their experience shall be furnished in the prescribed

“Application Format” only. If required, particulars can be furnished in Annexure but such details shall be clearly mentioned in the respective columns of the Application Format. The Applicant or their authorized representative shall duly sign each page of the document.

2. If a Contractor intends to apply for more than one category, separate

application form & applicable fee should be submitted. Only one application format can be used for application of one category.

3. All the documents submitted along with the application format should be numbered.

4. The authorized person of the firm/ company shall sign in all the pages of the

application with seal of the company/ firm.

5. The Bank shall not bear any cost of the applicant on account of application, for providing necessary clarifications or attending discussions.

6. Documentary proof with respect to the prequalification criteria shall be furnished

along with the application form. In this regard, copies of the work orders and completion certificates and or such other documents shall be submitted.

7. All applicants should necessarily submit certified copies of registration for PAN,

TIN, Service Tax, and Sales Tax/VAT (For Rajasthan Only) failing which the application shall not be considered.

8. In case of Contractors applying for Electrical Works, in addition to the above, they

should necessarily submit valid License for Electrical Contractor issued by Govt. of Rajasthan only failing which their application shall not be considered.

9. In case of Air Conditioning Vendors they should necessarily submit the

certified copies of Authorized Dealership of any branded AC Company (Hitachi, Daikin, Panasonic, and Blue Star). Failing to submit above documents, their applications shall not be considered.

10. The empanelment will be made for a specific category depending on the

credentials submitted. Bank has the right to call quotations/tender from any of the empanelled agencies or from selected agencies or from all the agencies, depending on the exigencies, nature & magnitude of the work. No representation from the empanelled agencies in this regard shall be entertained.

11. The evaluation will be based on the experience of similar works, reputation,

empanelment with other Banks PSUs, Govt. institutions, manpower & logistical support of the applicant, their financial capabilities, etc and if found necessary may also include inspecting the works undertaken by them for which, necessary co-ordination shall be made by them. The Bank shall not reimburse any cost incurred by the applicant for any necessary site visit.

12. Decision of the Bank regarding selection/ rejection for empanelment will be final and binding and no further correspondence will be entertained.

13. If, information and details furnished by applicants are found to be false at any

time in future, which comes to the notice of the Bank at a later date, the empanelment of such applicant is liable to be cancelled immediately.

14. Applications received after the due date and time shall not be entertained. Any application sent by post shall reach the relevant address by the latest date and time. The Bank shall not take responsible for delay in delivery of any application in any kind of postage. In case of Hand delivery, the sealed application may be dropped at the designated tender box placed at the afore-mentioned address.

15. The Applicants having their office in Rajasthan only will be preferred as our

intended area of execution shall be Rajasthan Only. The empanelment shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of intimation letter to the empanelled Applicants.

16. Bank of Baroda reserves its right to reject any or all the applications

without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

SCOPE OF WORK

1) The panel of Civil Contractors shall be mainly used for civil engineering works like earthwork, masonry, plastering, R.C.C. and P.C.C. works, painting, flooring, plumbing & sanitary, water proofing, demolition works, structural steel fabrication and other allied works for branches, residences and offices of the Bank.

2) The Electrical Contractors will be mainly used for internal and external electrification, associated cabling, earthing, wiring for air-conditioners, UPS, liaisoning with govt./private organizations for obtaining additional power, breakdown/normal repairs and other allied works for various branches / offices/residences of the bank.

3) The scope of work of Contractors for Furnishing mainly involves erection of

partitions, counters, paneling, false ceiling, cavity flooring, furniture and fabricated workstations and other allied works for furnishing of branches/offices/residences of the Bank. The scope of Furnishing Contractor shall also include the scope of work of above Civil & Electrical contractors.

4) The Vendors for Air Conditioning shall include supply, installation, servicing, repairs, AMC, etc. of the Air Conditioners in the Offices/Branches/Residences of the Bank.

5) The scope of work of Contractors for Repair & Maintenance mainly involves the repair and maintenance of the works mentioned for Furnishing Contractors but excluding works relating to Electrical nature.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA General Eligible criteria applicable for all type of contractors’ are as under:

1) The contractor who intends to apply should have the experience of successfully executing following quantum of “Similar Works” such as original works, repair works and maintenance works for branches/ offices of a Bank/ Government departments/public sector undertaking/ central autonomous bodies/ state autonomous bodies/ financial institutions or other reputed firms during last -5- years as on 31.03.2019 as under:

a. Three similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the cost limit in the respective category.

OR

b. Two similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the cost limit in the respective category.

OR

c. One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the cost limit in the respective category.

*Similar Works shall be the works related to the brief SCOPE OF WORK mentioned above.

2) The contractors should have well-established office in the respective centre with

adequate staff be an assessee of Income Tax and should have registered with TIN,

Service Tax, and Sales Tax/VAT (For Rajasthan Only).

3) The firm should have their Current A/c with any of the branch of Bank of Baroda in India else application will be rejected.

4) The firm should have their main activity as Contractor else application will be

rejected.

5) Architectural/Consultancy firms are not eligible for this empanelment of contractor with Bank of Baroda

6) All pages of this application form must be seal & sign by the authorized

signatory of the firm.

7) Average Annual Turn Over of the firm during last three year as on 31.03.2019 should not be less than 30% of the cost limit in the respective category.

8) Application without Application fee shall be rejected.

Specific Eligible Criteria for Contractor

1) Contractors for Electrical Work

The Contractor should have valid electrical contractors license issued by the Electrical Inspectorate/ government agencies

2) Contractors for Furnishing Work

The Contractor should execute the Electrical works through license holders only. If during any period of empanelment it has been found that the electrical works in furnishing works is not executed through such licensed contractors, the empanelment of the contractor is liable to be cancelled.

3) Vendors for Air Conditioning Work The Vendor should have valid Authorized Dealership of any one of AC Companies (Hitachi, Daikin, Panasonic, and Blue Star). The self-attested photocopy of the Dealership Certificate should necessarily be enclosed with the application. The vendors which do not have authorized dealership shall only be eligible for repair, maintenance, servicing works & AMC provided they have executed such works for other organizations. The Vendor should be registered with Service Tax Department failing which their application shall not be considered. Note:

• The contractors/Vendors who have undertaken the works for Govt.

organizations/PSU will be entertained. • All contractors/Vendors must be Income Tax Assessee. The contractors/Vendors,

who are not Income tax assessee, will not be considered for empanelment. • All contractors/Vendors should have registered for TIN, GST, and Sales Tax/VAT

(For Rajasthan Only) Otherwise their application will not be considered for empanelment.
