1.1.1.1. EcoBlue HybridEcoBlue HybridEcoBlue HybridEcoBlue Hybrid (mHEV(mHEV(mHEV(mHEV)))) The New Transit EcoBlue Hybrid uses a Belt-Driven Integrated Starter Generator (BISG) in place of the

normal alternator to recuperate and store energy on vehicle decelerations, charging a 48V system Li-Ion

battery. It then uses the stored energy for provide torque assist to the engine under normal driving and

acceleration conditions, as well as run normal vehicle electric ancillaries. The resulting load reduction of the

engine leads to improved fuel economy and lower CO2 circa 4%. Available Transit: FWD/RWD, Transit

Custom and Tourneo Custom FWD.

NOTE: the 48v battery pack is stored under the passenger seat which negates the load through feature for

longer items

2.2.2.2. Selectable Drive Mode (standard)Selectable Drive Mode (standard)Selectable Drive Mode (standard)Selectable Drive Mode (standard) Selectable Drive Mode are predetermined configurations allowing the driver to select via a mode button.

The following modes are available in addition to the Normal mode:

• EcoMode (Transit, Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom) - Tuned to maximise Fuel Economy by moderating vehicle performance and managing Customer comfort features e.g. air conditioning.

• Slippery Mode (Transit) - Enables confident driving on slippery wet or icy surfaces, making vehicle easier to control.

• Mud / Rut Mode (Transit) - Ideal for handling muddy terrains including deformed and deep, rutted surfaces such as mud, deep snow or sand. Suitable for light to moderate off-road conditions.

• Tow / Haul Mode (Transit) - Confidence and smooth power delivery to enable towing large trailers/ boats that weigh more than the vehicle kerb weight.

3.3.3.3. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise ControlIntelligent Adaptive Cruise ControlIntelligent Adaptive Cruise ControlIntelligent Adaptive Cruise Control Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control combines Intelligent Speed Assist with Traffic Sign Recognition and Cruise Control technology to ensure a safe speed is maintained in controlled areas. When enabled, the system uses satellite navigation information combined with camera-enabled Traffic Sign Recognition to establish the local speed limit. It then utilises Adaptive Cruise Control Technology to maintain a vehicle speed within those limits. The Driver can override the system either via a switch on the steering wheel or by pressing the accelerator or brake pedal.

4.4.4.4. Enhanced Enhanced Enhanced Enhanced Active Park AssistActive Park AssistActive Park AssistActive Park Assist Active Park Assist utilises Park Assist sensors to recognise a suitable parking space and independently steer the vehicle into the parking slot (accelerating and braking control remain with the Driver). Parking slots include parallel and perpendicular spaces. Active Park Assist also includes parallel parking departure support. The Driver can regain control of the vehicle by taking hold of the steering wheel or pressing the APA switch.

5.5.5.5. Side Side Side Side Park AssistPark AssistPark AssistPark Assist Side sensors are used in combination with front and rear parking sensors to detect objects around the

vehicle. Park Assist technology provides an audible and visual warning when the vehicle approaches an

obstruction visual warning displayed on the cluster or multi-function vehicle display depending on vehicle

specification)

6.6.6.6. BlindBlindBlindBlind----spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert and Trailer spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert and Trailer spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert and Trailer spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert and Trailer AssistAssistAssistAssist The Blind Spot Information System® (BLIS®) & Cross Traffic Alert system is designed to detect vehicles

that may have entered the blind spot zone. The detection areas are on the sides of the vehicle, extending

rearward from the door mirrors, they alert the Driver to faster approaching vehicles via an LED on the outer

top corner of the door mirrors.

The Trailer Tow functionality (new to this system) extends the BLIS® sensor range when a trailer is

connected (Cross Traffic Alert does not function when a trailer is attached). It will only function when the

vehicle is equipped with the factory fit “Trailer Tow Attachments”. The system then activates automatically

when the Trailer Module indicates “Trailer Attached”. The system can accommodate trailer lengths up to 10

metres and the sensors reach 4 metres beyond the end of the trailer. The driver is required to input the trailer

length via the cluster.

Cross Traffic Alert provides a wide angle camera view when reversing to create a safer driving environment.

7.7.7.7. Front WideFront WideFront WideFront Wide----View CameraView CameraView CameraView Camera (Transit(Transit(Transit(Transit)))) The Front Wide-View Camera observes what is coming from either side via a panoramic camera on the front of the vehicle that relays a split screen image to the vehicle’s multi-function. The Front Wide-View Camera is invaluable when edging out of a narrow parking space or on the busy roads where driver’s view is obstructed. Requires 8” screen.

Image shown is ICE with Touch Screen

8.8.8.8. Rear View Camera and Rear View Camera and Rear View Camera and Rear View Camera and LED LED LED LED Down LighterDown LighterDown LighterDown Lighter (Transit(Transit(Transit(Transit))))

High level positioned Rear View Camera offers a wider aspect and better visibility.

LED Down-lighter enables illuminating the area behind the vehicle Deployment:

• Down-lighter

• Down-lighter plus rear view camera

• Down-lighter plus rear view camera as part of split view Front camera

9.9.9.9. Lane Keeping AidLane Keeping AidLane Keeping AidLane Keeping Aid The new Enhanced Lane Keeping System utilises existing Lane Keeping Alert technology in combination with new electronic power-assisted steering.

When the vehicle is heading off course, the Driver is warned by a vibration feedback on the steering wheel. Steering assistance is provided to move the vehicle back into lane.

10.10.10.10. PrePrePrePre----Collision Assist with Pedestrian DetectionCollision Assist with Pedestrian DetectionCollision Assist with Pedestrian DetectionCollision Assist with Pedestrian Detection Detects vehicles and pedestrians who are on the road ahead, or who may cross the vehicle’s path, and warns the Driver.

The system uses a high-level camera and forward-facing radar to identify the type of object ahead and the distance between it and the vehicle. The distance to the object in front is displayed as Green/Yellow/Red in the colour instrument cluster and the Driver is warned with an audible beep if the there is a danger of an impact. If they do not respond, the system automatically applies the brakes up to a full stop in case of an imminent front impact. This technology is designed to help reduce the severity of accidents or help avoid them altogether

11.11.11.11. Vehicle Maintenance MonitorVehicle Maintenance MonitorVehicle Maintenance MonitorVehicle Maintenance Monitor The Vehicle Maintenance Monitor (VMM) feature consolidates existing relevant maintenance information/upcoming service needs and presents it to the user(s) via a consolidated menu structure in-vehicle and the data is available to the Fleet Telematics Product or remote interface (Telematics). The main purpose of the feature is to reduce vehicle downtime/unplanned services by enabling users to manage their maintenance needs more efficiently.

It can be accessed on demand by the vehicle driver using buttons available on the steering wheel. The menu presents a quick summary of the remaining vehicle health 1. Oil life Remaining in %, Time or Mileage

2. Exhaust Fluid Distance to empty

3. Diesel Particulate Filter % of soot build up
