NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that the Board of Directors of thecaptioned District will hold a public meeting by telephone conference call. Members of thepublic may access the meeting by following the instructions listed at the bottom of this notice.

The meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020.

The subject of the meeting is to consider and act on the following:

1. Public comment

2. Minutes of board meeting held on May 11, 2020

3. Tax assessor-collector’s report; delinquent tax collections; authorize collectionactions

4. Bookkeeper’s report; payment of bills and investment of funds

5. Operator’s report; status of District facilities and joint wastewater treatment plant;customer correspondence; suspension of termination of service to delinquentaccounts; write off of accounts; approve maintenance actions as necessary

6. Annual critical electricity load submission

7. Engineer’s report; status of construction projects; authorize advertising for bids,award contracts and approve change orders, as necessary; status of development,request for service and annexation

8. Detention pond operations report; status of repairs, maintenance, permitting, andoperations

9. Park improvements report; authorize park and trail improvements/repairs;landscape maintenance report; award contract for park construction; landscapemaintenance contract

10. Proposed installation of Cutten Green Subdivision perimeter wall

Instructions for accessing telephone conference call:

On March 16, 2020, in accordance with section 418.016 of the Texas GovernmentCode, Governor Abbott has suspended various provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act thatrequire government officials and members of the public to be physically present at a specifiedmeeting location (the “Proclamation”). In accordance with the Proclamation, the District hasimplemented procedures to allow members of the public to participate and address the Board ofDirectors during the telephone conference meeting. To participate in the telephone conferencemeeting:

Minutes of Meeting of Board of DirectorsMay 11, 2020

The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Northwest Harris County Municipal UtilityDistrict No. 6 (“District”) met by telephone conference call on May 11, 2020, in accordance withthe duly posted notice of said meeting and with the March 16, 2020 Order of Governor Abbott.,with a quorum of Directors present, as follows:

David W. Harris, PresidentEric L. Fox, Vice President & TreasurerBob Parliament, SecretaryDennis Jasek, DirectorDennis Klimek, Director

and the following absent:

None.

Also present were Mr. Robert Atkinson, Mr. Thomas Snook, Ms. Robin Goin,Ms. Vanessa Hernandez, Mr. Josh Maas, and Mr. Wm. Scott Smith.

1. The Board opened the floor for public comment. No public comment waspresented.

2. Director Harris took his oath of office for his new director term beginningMay 2, 2020. The Board unanimously accepted the certificates of election for Director Harrisand Director Parliament’s new terms of office.

3. The Board unanimously approved the minutes of April 13, 2020.

4. Ms. Goin presented the tax assessor-collector’s report indicating that 2019taxes are 96.9% collected. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, theBoard approved the tax assessor-collector’s report and checks drawn on the tax fund.

5. Ms. Hernandez presented the bookkeeper’s report. Upon motion dulymade, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the bookkeeper’s report and thechecks listed thereon.

6. Director Parliament entered the meeting at which time he took his oath ofoffice for his new director term beginning May 2, 2020.

7. The Board unanimously approved an operating budget for the fiscal yearending May 31, 2021.

8. Mr. Maas presented the operator’s report indicating that there were 745connections within the District, and water accountability was 92.2% for the month. There were

no violations at the wastewater treatment plant and no unusual operating conditions in theDistrict. One resident residing on Bent Trail Drive requested that the District trim the trees onthe park site that are overhanging his back fence. The Board unanimously approved thismaintenance item. In addition, the Board unanimously approved continuing to suspenddisconnects and late fees for nonpayment of utility bills.

9. Mr. Atkinson presented the engineer’s report and noted that the parkproject would be rebid in June. He requested a mowing schedule from the mowing contractor inorder to notify the Harris County Flood Control District pursuant to the mowing agreement. Mr.Atkinson stated that he has requested additional information from the design engineer for thestorm water quality permit for the Carson Cutten detention pond. Mr. Atkinson also stated thatHarris County is moving forward with the Greens Bayou rehabilitation project.

10. Mr. Snook presented the parks report and stated that maintenance activitywill be back on their regular schedule. The Board requested obtaining a cost estimate forrelocation of a magnolia tree to a more preferable spot.

11. The Board noted that there are seven easements remaining to be obtainedfor the wall project.

12. The Board unanimously approved engaging Mark C. Eyring CPA, PLLCto complete the audit for the fiscal years ending May 31, 2020 and May 31, 2021.

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting wasadjourned.

DRAFT:Homeowners are asked to stop dumping their yard debris such as weeds, limbs, leaves, etc. overtheir fence onto the Cutten Green Trail System. The added cleanup required by our Trail Systemlandscaper could potentially increase the maintenance costs that all Cutten Green homeownershave to share.Additionally, this dumping is disrespectful to all Cutten Green residents who have the right toenjoy the trail system without being exposed to the debris.
