In October 2008, Dr. Gerardi was elected to the Board of Directors of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and re-elected in October 2011. The Board of ACEP elected him Secretary-Treasurer for 2012, Vice President for 2013. He was elected President-elect of ACEP for 2013 – 2014 and was inducted as President in October 2014. useful to clinicians. This interest led to a MSc degree in Epidemiology

with a focus on evidence synthesis (i.e., meta-analysis). He currently serves on guideline development panels and as an editor of the Annals’ Systematic Review Snapshot series.

Michael A. Granovsky, MD, FACEP goes beyond mere reimbursement data to uncover national healthcare trends and shifts in the clinical landscape. Dr. Granovsky is the President of LogixHealth and Editor of ED Coding Alert. He chairs ACEP’s Coding and Nomenclature Committee and is a

member of the Reimbursement Committee. Dr. Granovsky is the CFO of the Greater Washington Emergency Physicians in Fort Washington, MD, and Co-Course Director of Reimbursement Trends and Strategies in EM/Advanced Procedure Coding for EM.
