2 GENERAL FOOTNOTES
2.1 PARKDALE - ST. CLAIR AVE.-So that signals will notclear unnecessarily, crews switching between approach signalsof CP Rail crossing, mileage 4.6, must advise CP Rail TrainDispatcher before starting work and when work completed.Trains and engines operating on siding must obtain permis-sion from Train Dispatcher, YX MacMillan Yard and CP RailTrain Dispatcher before leaving siding southward to cross CPRail. To assist in avoiding delay Operators at Parkdale and St.Clair Ave. will advise CP Rail Train Dispatcher of throughnorthward and southward movements.
2.2 ST. CLAIR AVE.-Siding is the south end of service trackbetween mileage 4.8 and crossover at mileage 5.5.All southward movements between mileage 5.2 and mileage4.6 must stop clear of south switch St. Clair Ave. siding,mileage 4.8, when signal at railway crossing at grade mileage4.6 indicates "Stop", and remain until permissive signal isreceived. If stopped, a member of the crew must immediatelycontact CP Rail Train Dispatcher from telephone located atmileage 4.8.' This does not apply to yard engines workingabout the St. Clair Ave. district.
2.3 DOWNSVIEW-First track east of main track between mile-age 8.1 and mileage 8.6 is siding.All switching must be made with air coupled except enginesswitching at the south end of yard when the engine is workingon the south tend of the cars being switched.
2.4 SNIDER NORTH-Upon request, Conductors on northwardtrains will report departure from Snider North to TrainDispatcher YX MacMillan Yard, by radio.
2.5 BARRIE—First track east of main track is siding.2.6 BARRIE-Connection from Newmarket Subdivision to Bee-
ton and Meaford Subdivisions is via yard tracks.2.7 ORILLIA—First track east of main track is siding.2.8 MILEAGE 88.4-Southward advance speed restriction sign for
