WEEKLYOCTOBER 13
It’s time to get ready for for Trunk or Treat!
Trunk or Treat is coming up soon! What a great opportunity to connect with our
community! This year, it’s really simple. Our goal is to have at least 100 trunks filled with candy! So... we are
going to need LOTS of candy! There are two ways to help make this a great event for the kids. Sign up to create a trunk OR bring a BUNCH of candy! 100 - 30 gallon tubs full of candy is our goal so we won’t run out! Go by a local dollar store and fill up a tub, or get a partner to split it
with you! Then bring it to the education hallway or to the connection center out front. Generosity
always makes an impression - let’s show our neighbors we really care!
Pray for the many lives that may be touched
during the event as we celebrate this day that the Lord made.

GriefShare, Surviving the Holidays - It’s difficult when loved ones pass away; more so, as the holidays approach and especially when this is the first holiday without them. Many people have gone through several holidays
and still struggle with not knowing what to do or how to
cope. To help, we invite you to a 2-hour seminar on Saturday morning, November 16th, from 9am to 11am, in the A-Building. The cost is five dollars which covers the cost of the material. Please,
prayerfully consider this time and sign-up on-line beginning October 20th, or contact the Pastoral Care office at 910.791.6053. Thank you and may God comfort and strengthen you in the coming days!
REVIVAL AT NORTHSIDE - November 6th and 7th, on Wednesday and Thursday
night, Johnny Hunt will be here at Northside for a revival! We encourage you to invite your friends and family to come hear Pastor Johnny as he shares God’s Word in a compelling and powerful way... Then Friday and Saturday, he leads our men to take a deeper
look into their walk with Christ. This year’s Johnny Hunt Men’s Conference
focuses on demolishing the strongholds with which men struggle. Make plans now
to be part of this great time with Pastor Johnny.
Are you a first time guest and have a
question about Northside or something you heard in the
service today? Please stop by our connection center out front, and
someone will help you find the answers and invite
you to our Guest Reception room.

The flowers are given by Bobby & Gail Jackson. On October 16th, Toby will be 40 years old! Being a parent is scary from the start. You pray you do the right things. You give your love and guidance, hoping to raise your children to follow in God’s path. You work to influence them in a positive way and pray you’ve guided them in the right direction and to make good decisions. “We still don’t know exactly what we did to deserve you in God’s eyes, but we give thanks to Him every day for you. We’re so very proud of the wonderful, respectable, funny, and honorable man you’ve become. Having you for our son and nephew is
a pure delight and a wonderful pleasure.“ Happy 40th Birthday Toby! Love Dad, Mom & Aunt Judy!
