Outline planning consent has been granted for the proposed Logistics North 4 million sqft employment master plan and country park.
This is the catalyst for delivery of the scheme with an upgrade to J4 of the M61 and construction of the principle estate road within the park. The estate road will extend through the Western element of the scheme (Plots A-E) and open up the Eastern element (Plots F,G and H) which provide the largest development platforms and the opportunity to accommodate up to 1 million sq ft.
Aldi’s decision to relocate to site underpins the credentials of Logistics North. Their proposed facility has obtained a detailed consent which demonstrates the local planning authorities proactive support of the Logistics North Scheme.
