Replacement of Bridge #106 over Reedy Fork Creek on SR 2128 (Bunch Road) - The existing structure is a 3 @ 30'-3" bridge (91' total) with Prestressed Concrete Channel Beams and Timber Piles and End Bents. The recommended replacement structure is a 1 @ 30'; 1 @ 70' -- 2 span Cored Slab Bridge (100' total). The quadrant of the project site. The bridge opening will be increased from 598 sq ft to 678 sq ft, reducing bridge opening velocities. The north stream bank will be armored with Class II rip rap to stabilize. Existing ditch in the SE quadrant is unstable and eroding. This ditch will be widened/improved to 3' and stabilized with Class I rip rap. Ditches in the remaining quadrants are presently vegetated and stable and these will be maintained with the project.
