NORTH_250 REPORT REFERENCES FOR EXISTING LAND SYSTEM SURVEYS
The amalgamation of existing land systems surveys covering the northern portion of the Northern Territory was undertaken as part of the ASRIS (Australian Soil Resource Information System) project. www.asris.csiro.au This amalgamated survey is called, Land Systems for the Nothern Part of the Nothern Territory. Each of these existing survey reports are available to view or download as a PDF via the Northern Territory library archives or the CSIRO website. The Metadata link provides information about the GIS (Geographic Information System) spatial dataset. The department uses the Survey Code NORTH_250 to store the associated spatial data.
