About usNorsk Metallretur / Stena Recycling is a leading actor within iron and metal recycling in Norway. Yearly we handle approximately 300 000 tons of iron, metal and electrical waste. The company has through a long history gained knowledge and experience within processing and decommissioning of offshore equipment, onshore and all types of electrical waste in an enviromentally responsible manner.1, September 2011 Norsk Metallretur was acquired by Stena Metall AB, 1 September 2012 merges the Norwegian company Stena Recycling with the Norsk Metallretur and the new company name will become Stena Recycling AS.The company will be able to offer its customers and suppliers optimal solutions within the entire regime of garbage from metals to hazardous wastes, plastics, paper and regular waste
Areas of concentration:The offshore industry is an important priority for Stena Recycling in the nearby future. The Stena facilities in Kristiansund, Stord / Haugesund and Stavanger are strategically important sites for the continued focus on the offshore industry, there is already expertise, networks and systems in place. At the Vest Base outside of Kristiansund Stena Recycling recently opened a new reception facility.Stena Recyclings slogan is Innovative Recycling, our customers and suppliers are always in focus, and through close followups and sharing of ideas we will find new ways to create and serve new and innovative solutions for existing and new customers and suppliers.
