Established in 1988 and dedicated to peace, the Caen Memorial (Le Mémorial de Caen, un musée pour la paix) is regarded as the best World War II museum in France. Located on the northern outskirts of Caen in Normandy, the Caen Memorial also includes exhibits on other failures and triumphs of peace, such as September 11th and the fall of the Berlin Wall. On your return you will enjoy a dinner in Caen featuring a special guest - WWII French veteran (Courtesy of The Memorial de Caen UPON AVAILABILITY – Cannot be guaranteed). (Welcome Dinner)

Day 3 – March 12 - Etretat/Honfleur/Trouville/Deauville: After breakfast, leave for a morning explorations of the stunning cliffs of Etretat, which are world-famous for their naturally formed archways. Feel free to walk around and snap some photos of these geological wonders as you ramble along the coastal path. Historic chateaux and chapels pepper the landscape, and a range of annual festivals infuse this provincial seaside town with revelry. Afterwards we proceed to Honfleur. This picturesque seaport offers the warm welcome of a little maritime village, one which has somehow escaped the ravages of time. Honfleur has managed to preserve the traces of a rich historical past, which make it one of the most visited towns in France, with its picturesque backstreets and old houses. Its international renown is partly due to the authenticity of its narrow paved streets and timber-framed house-fronts. There will be time for lunch on your own in Honfleur before we leave for Trouville/Deauville, where you will be able to spend some time walking the charming streets of a sea side resort town. Then return to your hotel in Caen for dinner on your own. (Breakfast)

Day 4 – March 13 - WW2 US Landing Beaches: After breakfast, meet up with your local English-speaking guide and depart from your hotel for a full-day tour of WW2 US landing beaches. Leaving Caen you will visit Pointe du Hoc at your leisure. Pointe du Hoc is situated on a cliff, west of Omaha Beach. It was here on June 6, 1944, D-Day morning where an assault by elements of the American Second Ranger Battalion took out a German gun battery firing on Omaha and Utah beaches. Next we depart Point du Hoc for a guided tour of Omaha Beach, one of the five landing beaches. The future of France and Europe was at stake here on June 6th, 1944. When you visit this beach, which extends over Vierville-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer and Colleville-sur-Mer, you will obtain a clearer idea of the importance of this site. Continuing on we'll depart Omaha Beach for The American Cemetary at Colleville-sur-Mer. The site overlooks Omaha Beach, where the Allies suffered their greatest losses during the Normandy landings. Here 9,387 American soldiers lie in a peaceful, inspiring setting on a majestic lawn with 9,387 perfectly arranged white crosses. This image, more powerful than words, remains engraved in one's memory forever. You will also receive entrance to the Arromanches Museum, dedicated to the Allied D-Day experience. Experience the 360 HD movie theater that will bring you back in time during the WWII. (Breakfast)

Day 5 – March 14 - Caen/Rouen/Paris: After breakfast, take a deluxe motor coach from Caen to Rouen, for a walking tour of the city with an English-speaking guide. Rouen, like Paris, sits on the Seine, and is the capital of Normandy. It is the city of the Impressionists and Rouen has inspired countless artists over the centuries. Enjoy an exclusive visit in a private house where artist Monet actually sat down and painted the Rouen Cathedral from the window (subject to confirmation from the owner - closed to the general public). Prepare for a sensory overload, in the city where Joan of Arc is ever-present. There will be time for lunch on your own in Rouen before your afternoon transfer to your Paris hotel. Tonight, feel free to explore Paris, the City of Light, where dinner is on your own and world-class options abound. (Breakfast)

Day 6 – March 15 - Paris (Optional Tour): After breakfast, depart for a full-day tour of the magnificent city of Paris. Enjoy a Sightseeing tour of the city’s classic landmarks : the Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, the Invalides and grand avenues. Then after lunch on your own, enjoy an orientation tour of the narrow streets of artistic Montmartre and discovering with our guide the Sacré Coeur Basilica and the portrait painters of the Place du Tertre. The Sacré-Coeur Basilica is a popular landmark, located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. The Sacré-Coeur Basilica is a double monument, political and cultural, both a national penance for the supposed excesses of the Second Empire and an embodiment of conservative moral order. The Place du Tertre is an artist-filled square atop Paris's Montmartre neighborhood, which was once the gathering place of young French painters, poets and composers who went on to create much of the most famous art and music of the 20th century. (Breakfast)

Day 7 – March 16 - Paris /Versailles & Chartres (optional tour) / Paradis Latin Cabaret dinner show: After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure to explore the many charms of Paris on your own or you may instead choose to take a Full-day optional tour to Versailles & Chartres. The court of Versailles was the center of political power in France from 1682, when Louis XIV moved from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in October 1789 after the beginning of the French Revolution. Versailles is therefore famous not only as an opulent royal dwelling, but as a symbol of the system of absolute monarchy of the Ancien Régime and its eventual downfall. The Palace at Versailles is unrivalled in perhaps all the world by the level of artistry on display in the appointments of its many salons and rooms of all description. The attention to detail and opulence is truly astounding and must be seen to be believed. Continuing on, you will discover The Cathedral of Chartres, Partly built starting in 1145, and then reconstructed over a 26-year period after the fire of 1194, Chartres Cathedral marks the high point of French Gothic art. The vast nave, in pure ogival style, the porches adorned with fine sculptures from the middle of the 12th century, the magnificent 12th- and 13th-century stained-glass windows, and the very mysterious labyrinth built circa 1200 laid into the floor, all in remarkable condition, combine to make it a masterpiece. Then in the evening, It's show time in Paris at the most Parisian cabaret in town. For the ultimate evening in Paris’ atmospheric Latin Quarter, enjoy a glittering cabaret show with dinner or champagne at the Paradis Latin - the oldest traditional French cabaret in the world. It's the perfect Paris experience! the perfect end to a perfect trip! Transfer back to the hotel for overnight. (Breakfast, Farewell Dinner)

Day 8 – March 17 - Paris/DFW: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (Breakfast)
