Norgas Carriers is an integrated shipping company involved in the transport of petrochemical gases and LPG. A fleet of 18 gas vessels (5000-10 000 cbm) are

operated world wide. Norgas is wholly owned by I.M. Skaugen ASA, and has offices in Houston, Oslo, St. Petersburg, Dubai, Singapore and Shanghai.

MULTIGASLNG/LEG/LPG/VCM CARRIERS

The Multigas Carriers are designed and built as semi refrigerated gas carriers for world wide trade. They are flexible vessels capable of carrying LNG, in addition to Ethylene, LPG and VCM. Two (2) of the Multigas Carriers are built to GL’s ice class notation E3, and will thus offer full flexibility for year round trade in the Baltic Sea and other areas with harsh winter conditions.

The ships are built at Taizhou Wuzhou Shipbuilding andShenghui Gas & Chemical Systems builds and installs the cargo tanks and cargo plants, under management, coordination and supervision by Skaugen Marine Construction. Norgas Carriers will operate the ships.

They will fly Singaporean flag, be classed by Germanischer Lloyd, and comply with all relevant rules and regulations, including U.S. Coast Guard requirements.

Cargo SystemThe cargo plant is designed to carry two grades of gas simultaneously completely segregated, cooled or un-cooled, and will be capable to reliquefy not only LPG and petrochemical gases, but also LNG.

The cargo tank containment system consists of two (2) cylindrical stainless steel cargo tanks of the independenttype C of respectively 4,000 m3 and 6,000 m3. The minimum tank temperature is -163°C, maximum density is 0.97 ton/m3 and maximum pressure on the cargo tanks is 5.2 bar gauge according to IMO rules. The ship’s gas reliquefaction plants are capable of cooling ethylene 2.5°C per day in tropical waters.

The Multigas Carriers are equipped with nitrogen plant and deck tank, enabling efficient and independent purging and

change of grade operations. A gas combustion unit is fitted to serve as a gas burner when gas freeing and back up for cargo tank pressure control. The loading or discharge time for a full cargo is about 9.5 hours.

In order to be able to load at large scale LNG terminals the Multigas ships are equipped with an additional elevated loading platform with a set of vapour and liquidmanifolds to meet the working envelope of the LNG loading arms. They also have sets of manifolds suitable forsmaller terminals.

Propulsion, Speed, Range & Maneuverability The propulsion system consists of one (1) medium speed, 4-stroke diesel engine connected to a controllable pitch propeller through a reduction gearbox. Three (3) auxiliary engines are fitted together with a shaft generator. The shaft generator has a PTI mode, and can thus be used as a “take-me-home” motor powered by the auxiliary generator sets. The main engine power output is about 7000 kW. Service speed is 16.5 knots, and the trading range is to 12,800 nautical miles, equal to 32-34 days steaming.

Excellent maneuverability is ensured by a bow thruster and a high efficient spade rudder with flap.

NORGAS MULTIGAS DESIGN

Page 4: NORGAS SSLNG VESSEL SOLUTION’S

n We have more than 35 years of experience in Liquefied Gas Transportation and have been designing, constructing, managing and operating Small-Scale LNG (“SSLNG”) carriers for more than 9 years.

n In 2008 we started the design, engineering, and construction of the 6 first Small-Scale LNG / MultiGas carriers in the world at a total cost of about USD 300 million. The vessels have a cargo capacity of 10,000 to 12,000m3.

n We have proven design for a 6,700-7,500m3 SSLNG vessel, which is with its ship lines and other features makes it an industry leader in fuel efficiency. The fuel consumption of only 10 tons LNG per day at service speed of 13.5 knots is very attractive for commercial and environmental reasons being up to 30-40% less than competitive designs.

n We have designs for larger SSLNG vessels in cooperation with our partners.

n For propulsion we believe that the fuel choice is clear; in the short to medium term LNG as fuel provides immediate GHG emission reductions, more or less elimination of particle emissions as well as cost savings vs alternative fossil fuels. Longer term, Bio-LNG is a credible zero-carbon pathway with massive, unrealized potential utilizing the same infrastructure as LNG.

Our primary concept is the creation of a “Virtual Pipeline” through transportation and integration of LNG for the energy services, mining and industrial sectors in emerging markets. Our aim is to replace diesel with natural gas, lowering operating costs for our clients as well as reducing the environmental impact. The Norgas solutions are modular and scalable, allowing for fast deployment and reduced costs.

Norgas Carriers (www.norgascarriers.com), based in Oslo, Norway and Singapore is focused on the marine logistics solutions for regional distribution of Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”).

Norgas’ core competence stems from the transportation of liquefied gases such as LNG, petro chemical gases, ethane and liquefied petroleum gas. We have more than 35 years of experience in Liquefied Gas Transportation and have been actively managing and operating Small-Scale LNG (“SSLNG”) carriers for more than 9 years. In 2008 we started the engineering and construction of the 6 first MultiGas carriers in the world at a total cost of about USD 300 million.

Norgas is owned by Kistefos AS (www.kistefos.no), a Norwegian based investment company with investments in various sectors including but not limited to: oil and gas, shipping/offshore, technology/ telecom, financial services, real estate and venture capital businesses. In 2019, Kistefos had assets of USD 3.6bn, an annual turnover of USD 1.6bn and a book equity of USD 330m.
