Playground  We  are  hoping  to  be  able  to  have  some  more  playground  markings/games  over  the  coming  months  thanks  to  funds  from  our  Friends  Association.    This  will  benefit  all  of  our  children  and  our  Nursery  children  will  be  invited  to  play  on  the  main  playground  too.   Reading  Cafes  Thank  you  to  everyone  who  attended  our  Reading  Cafes  last  week.    They  were  very  successful  and  we  have  had  so  many  positive  comments  from  parents  and  carers.    We  will  of  course  keep  you  updated  about  our  next  Reading  Cafes.  Have  a  look  on  our  website  for  lots  of  photos  taken  during  these  events.   Festival of Stories Week We thoroughly enjoyed our Festival of Stories week. The children learned so much and particularly enjoyed working with Petr Horacek the children’s illustrator and Dale Beaumont Smith who worked with the children on animation skills.

Lost Property We have a huge amount of lost property in school. This will be set out in the Hall on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May in the morning for parents and carers to see. It will then be disposed of. Attendance Thank you for your support with this aspect of school. As you know, we have had issues around attendance and punctuality for a long time but I am thrilled to be able to inform you that it has improved immensely and our Attendance Officer is delighted with the improvement. She will continue to monitor it carefully each month. External Decoration of the School We are acutely aware that the school requires external decoration. Unfortunately we are on a waiting list along with lots of other schools in Norfolk but hope that it will be done during the next academic year. Milk If your child would like milk next half term, please pay £4.80 to the School office on the 11th, 12th or 13th of June to cover period 18th June to 20th July. Glasses We have several pairs of children’s glasses in the School office that have been lost. If your child has lost glasses, please check with Mrs Manson or Mrs Mulhall. Rachael Judd Headteacher

Class  Assemblies  Thank  you  once  again  for  supporting  our  Class  Assemblies.    The  children  love  performing  for  their  parents/carers  and  it  is  a  super  way  for  our  parents  to  find  out  more  about  what  the  children  have  been  learning  in  school.    The  children  are  becoming  more  and  more  confident  each  time  they  perform!
