Details For an educational and fun-filled day out, head to the 10th annual Noosa Festival of Water, showcasing features from Lake Borumba Fish Stocking group, see Geckoes Wildlife natives animals display and presentation, water activities and free boat rides across Lake Macdonald to the Gerry Cook Hatchery, and entertainment in the amphitheatre with Irish music from the Famous Jimmies, Welcome to Country and performance with Lyndon Davis and the Gubbi Gubbi Dancers, Andrea Kirwin and band, and Caitlyn Shadbolt. There are children's art activities with Arting About with Lyn McCrea, and the Lake Mac Catch and Release Bass Fishing Comp has some fantastic prizes.
