Creating innovative products requires not only expertise but also plenty of expe-rience. vliepa GmbH has been active on the market for almost 40 years – earning ourselves a worldwide reputation for the finishing of nonwoven materials, paper and film. Irrespective of whether we are dealing with building materials, paper or packaging, for every product group our goal is always to respond to the wishes and demands of our customers and to provide them with tailor-made products of exceptional quality.

Being the link between industry and the processing sectors enables us to maintain an overview of the entire supplier chain – from the cultivation areas for raw materials and their processing via the suppliers through to the customer – and we place great importance on maintaining reliably high standards and responsible business practices. WHO ARE WE?

We are a medium-sized company but retain a friendly, family-like atmosphere. We are innovative and modern yet still a traditional company characterised by high corporate standards. At two locations, we produce a wide range of products for the construction, paper and packaging industries. In almost 40 years since the company was founded, we have grown consistently and played an important role in shaping developments in the sector.

vliepa currently has more than 50 employees working in the areas of production, sales and admi-nistration. Eric Schillings, who took over as Managing Director from his father in 2007, is guiding the company into the future in line with his vision – in an exemplary manner. In 2011, the Technology and Start-up Centre for Niederrhein awarded us a special prize for the well-structured and successful handover of a medium-sized company from one generation to the next.

A clearly defined corporate structure, characterised by short communication channels, as well as by mutual respect and responsibility towards both our employees and customers, underpins the effectiveness of our company.

vliepa GmbH is your contact partner for everything concerning the finishing and laminating of covering layers and substrates for industry. The coating of glass fibre materials is one of our core areas of expertise. We supply innovative vliepa products to renowned companies in the insulating materials industry. As a supplier of system solutions, we are also a strong partner for the roofing membrane and roofing construction materials industries.

vliepatex has already distinguished itself as a standard product due to its versatile and innovative properties. The breathable covering facer and substrate material is resistant to weathering and environmental influences. And it is also highly resistant to mould and rot. vliepatex releases any moisture that penetrates into it instead of locking it in. In addition, the material is highly flexible and is thus also ideally suited for contoured surfaces.By specially modifying the coating, we can reliably adapt vliepatex to your requirements. Printed or coloured in your corporate colours – we can realise almost every wish thanks to our extensive experience and expertise. This includes coating materials using LDPE and HDPE plastics

COVERING FACERS AND SUBSTRATES FOR INSULATION MATERIALS

vliepatex is the brand name for a mineral coated glass fibre material developed and produced by us. In the polyurethane industry, it is valued as a substrate for PUR/PIR foam for the produc-tion of polyurethane insulating panels.

or bitumen. It is also possible to laminate the pro-duct with different materials.

All vliepatex modifications can be finished to meet fire classes from B2 to A2 according to DIN 4102/EN 13501-1.

As a specialist for the finishing of nonwoven materials, we can of course produce multi-facer composites to meet your requirements. In the process, we can laminate glass fibre materials and also products made out of paper, film or fabric with one another into multi-facer composites. In certain cases we can even replace the metal on one side of a composite with a flexible surface facer thereby offering you a particularly economical solution.

You‘re always on the safe side with vliepatex – high-quality, economical and above all environmentally friendly. The manufacturing process is carried out without the use of organic solvents, dioxides or similarly harmful substances. During waste incineration, only water and carbon dioxide are left behind. And for landfill disposal, no toxic substances will be released into the environment.

In the mineral wool and polystyrene industries, vliepatex is a popular covering facer that expands the range of application for the produced insulation panels. Insulation panels laminated with vliepatex are just as suitable for acoustic applications as visible ceiling panels as they are for insulation panels in interior ceilings in cellars. Thanks to our various systems for applying the coating, we can regulate the thickness of the coating and its porosity and thus specifically adapt the product to your special requirements.

With the help of different base materials, vliepatex can fulfil other product-specific requirements. For example, if the panels need to be able to with-stand high mechanical loads due to being walked over. We can additionally strengthen the carrier with fabric or woven materials for this purpose.

We offer you all of the expertise required to produce tailor-made roofing facers or carrier materials – also in small production quantities. This is our speciality. We can develop the right product together with you according to your specifications. And using prototypes, we ensure that the product is right before starting series production.

SERVICE WITH A FORMAT. EVERYTHING FOR THE INSULATION, ROOFING AND PAPER INDUSTRIES

We always think one step ahead. Producers of roofing and plastic membranes can not only source all raw materials from us but also the necessary manufacturing resources.

Finishing materials also always means individualising them. Logos, brand names or designs? In our vliepaprint business unit the possibilities are endless. Our powerful machines enable us to print on nonwoven fabric, paper or film for the roofing and plastic sheeting industries. Leading companies in the sector have already had a trusting working relationship with us for many years.

Our standard range for the customer-specific processing of materials consists of foil made out of HDPE, polypropylene and polyester that can be applied as a laminate or as edging strips. In addition, our polypropylene nonwoven material and cardboard are also constantly available. We finish materials to your specific requirements and then produce them in the required formats, in narrow rolls or perforated. Our production capabilities start at 4.0 µ and range to nonwoven materials of 400 g/m2.

In the fine paper and packaging indust-ries, we also offer all services required for the production of materials for a wide variety of applications. Irrespective of whether it is nonwoven materials, paper or film or if it is laminated or PE coated: We deliver individual products in the desi-red format – from A4 to large formats.

In the case of pre-manufactured pro-ducts and those auxiliary materials that are constantly in demand such as film, adhesive tape and nonwoven materials, we can even look after their storage and deliver the material to you on sche-dule. You benefit through greater stora-ge capacity and more liquidity!

Naturally, vliepa is also pleased to act purely as a service provider. We finish your products to your specifications and guarantee at the same time that all of the logistics run smoothly.

Our vliepavap air and moisture barriers provide reliable internal protection that helps to reduce energy consumption. In combination with our vliepaspan sheathing and underlay membranes, as well as our adhesive systems specifically designed for the relevant type of roof construc-tion, they offer a range of different tailor-made combinations for stopping, slowing down, reducing and eliminating diffusion.
