SPOKANE, Wash. – Craft3 announced today that its new Eastern Washington office in Spokane is open for business and staffed by Susan Doll, Brad Ferris and Jennifer Janda. Craft3 is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) lender with a mission to strengthen economic, ecological, and family resilience in Pacific Northwest communities.Craft3 specializes in helping borrowers who cannot get needed financing from traditional sources. Since 1994, the organization has invested over $322 million from offices in Ilwaco, Port Angeles, Seattle, Washington and Astoria, Bend and Portland, Oregon. Craft3 provides loans to businesses, nonprofits and local Tribal governments. Susan Doll is Craft3’s Business Lender and joined the team in February. From the Spokane office, Susan will serve businesses throughout the greater Eastern Washington region. She has 17 years of commercial lending experience, but it was the mission that sparked her interest in Craft3.“I was drawn to Craft3 because it would allow me to use my many years of business lending experience to further the mission and create economic opportunity for those most in need, specifically in Eastern Washington and Spokane,” said Susan.Brad Ferris started as Craft3’s Commercial Credit Underwriter earlier this year. He works alongside the Craft3 lending team to provide loans to businesses and nonprofits that strengthen regional resilience. Brad brings ten years of commercial banking experience as a Credit Underwriter, Analyst and Lender with regional banks in Washington, Oregon and Montana. “It was Craft3’s focus on making positive impacts in local communities that brought me to the team,” said Brad. “The targeted approached to investing in businesses unable to access traditional financing is unlike any other institution I have worked with.”Jennifer Janda is Craft3’s Marketing Manager and has been with the organization since 2004. She manages Craft3’s marketing and communication efforts to target outreach in underserved communities throughout Washington and Oregon.“Craft3 specializes in delivering capital to the people and places that need it most.
