WID Licensing Tables – process for ACINet

a) States send licensing tables (LICENSE, LICAUTH, LICXONET) to the NCSC (Workforce Information Grants require updates once every two years)

b) The NCSC checks for internal consistency and compatibility with ACINet application

c) The NCSC and the state work out solutions to any issues identified.

d) Quarterly updates are sent to ACINet

WID Licensing Tables – NCSC Services to States

• Version Conversion – ACINet uses structure based on Version 2.3-2.4 of the ALMIS Database• Uses license-occupation crosswalk file• LICXONET – similar to WID LICXOCC• Utilizes O*NET-SOC 2009 Occupations

• Licensing-occupation crosswalk enhancement – possibility of multiple occupations per license

Session Objectives Review1. Answer: “Why have this page/collection of tables?”2. Define the types of files found there3. Introduce you to the current collection of non-standard tables4. Share our hopes and plans for this resource

4. Share our hopes and plans…•DBA surveys reveal state DBAs’ imagination and innovation•Tables added by DBAs, frequently because of customer requests•Share those structures on the Non-Standard Tables page
