1. State of the Future Annual Report (SOF): Edition of the Spanish version of the SOF 2010 report

Group 1: Report

Edition and printing of 1.000 copies of the State of the Future 2010 report in Spanish Distribution of more than 400 copies in Spain, among Node members and relevant contacts at Institutional and business level. Distribution of more than 500 copies in Latin America, through the Millennium Nodes:

Argentina Bolivia Colombia Chile México Peru Dominican Republic

Possibility to request copies of the report in Spanish at World level through the Millennium Project Web and amazon.com.

2. Web Platform of the Millennium Project Node: Design, launch and update of the Web Platform (www.proyectomilenio.org): Reports, events, calendar, links, news, etc.

Continuous update of the Web platform (news, blog, videos, events, etc.) and adding new sections. Periodic sending of an electronic newsletter to a distribution list of more than 2.500 e-mails from Spain and all over Latin America. Creation of groups of the Millennium Node in social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn, update of news and follow-up of debates. Follow-up of Web entries through the Google Analytics tool. Recording of a documentary about global challenges and the Millennium Project for the anniversary of the programme “DOCUMENTOS TV” of the Spanish Television, broadcasted in June 2011.

3. Annual event of the Millennium Project Node: Presentation of the annual report, presentations by international experts, research projects, etc.

Workshop for the launching of the 2010 State of the Future report in San Sebastian on 22/11/10, with Jerome C. Glenn and around 50 participants from public and private Institutions. Submission of a press release about the Workshop and publishing articles in the general press (VOCENTO, Grupo Noticias, ABC, etc.) and digital media. Publishing an article about the Millennium Project and the annual workshop in the magazine Cuadernos LKS. Technical meeting of the Node members with Jerome C. Glenn, in Madrid (19/11/10), for the launching of the 2010 SOF report. Participation in a workshop about global challenges and 2030 Latin-American Scenarios organized by the FUNGLODE Foundation in the Dominican Republic (15/03/11).

1. 2011 State of the Future Report (SOF – State of the Future): Editing of the Spanish version of the report + CD and dissemination in Spain and Latin America.

2. Node Web Platform and Communication Strategy: Continuous update of the Web platform, groups in social networks and sending periodic newsletters; publishing news and dissemination; including Web links to Millennia 2015 and Global Millennium Prize initiatives; etc.

3. Annual Workshop and other events: Organization of an annual Workshop to launch the 2011 State of the Future report and the 2030 Latin American Scenarios in November 2011 in Madrid (with Mario Vargas Llosa, Enrique Valentín Iglesias, Jerome Glenn), other presentations of the 2011 SOF report, etc.

4. RESEARCH: 2012 International Year of Cooperatives: The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2012 as the International Year of Cooperatives, highlighting the contribution of cooperatives to socio-economic development, in particular recognizing their impact on poverty reduction, employment generation and social integration.

MONDRAGON Corporation is commissioned as the World´s largest Cooperative Corporation.
