Dear Sir,

1. Introduction:- Classes are engaged regularly at this college to students who pay Rs 750/- and seek admission in JKC. Analytical skills ,Computer skills ,Communication Skills in English ,Aptitude and Reasoning are imparted to them . Two full-time Mentors were appointed in Dec’07 for a period of about three months .Later one full-time Mentor was appointed last year and she is continuing this year also. Mr P V Nasimham , an ELF trained Lecturer and JKC (EC) Coordinator ,engages classes on Communication Skills . A JKC Committee was formed with 7 members to take necessary resolutions.

3. Placements / Achievements After attending rigorous training for about two months ,many students attended the Recruitment Drive held in Jan’08 . Ten Students got selected and they are working in Infosys at present.

Two students attended the BULATS Exam and one of them secured ‘B’ Grade.

In the Recruitment Drive held in Feb’09 two students were selected in AirTel and one by Bank of America and many of them are waiting for the results. All the students greatly benefited from this training and they have became confident and ready to face interviews . Many JKC Students secured good ranks in ICET’08 mainly because of the skills taught here and were JKC training was immensely useful to them.

Dr. Veerender , a famous Psychologist visited this College in Nov’07 during Infosys batch and motivated the students to concentrate mainly on their studies and reach their goals A Number of students & Lecturers attended that program and made it a success.

The following is the report of JKC at Government Degree College, Bodhan 2008-

2009 as desired by the CCE/JKC MC through your mail.

1. JKC was established at Govt. Degree College, Bodhan in August ‘2008. Forty Seven

Students were admitted for August ‘2008 batch. The Batch was started on 25.08.2008 and

continued for 60 days. Five subjects were taught with training.

4. 60 Students got themselves enrolled in April ‘2009 JKC batch. The Classes

commenced on 10.04.2009 and continued from 20.04.2009 after a short gap because of 2009

General elections. Sri P. Ranjith Kumar was reallocated to JKC, GDC, Bodhan as regular

mentor by CCE/Govt. of AP.

5. JKC ELL (Language Lab) was sanctioned by CCE to GDC, Bodhan. The work was

entrusted to Panchayat Raj Engineer department as Agency to take up work. Utilization

Certificate was issued by Asst. Engineer P.R., Bodhan about progress of the work.

6. Sri Bhujangam, Coordinator, Nodal JKC, GGC, Nizamabad visited this center in

August ‘2008 and 29th April ‘2009 and addressed the JKC students.
