c. You will want to sign in using your student’s email address as well as their password. Your student’s username should be stfirstinitiallastname#@ppsstudents.net Their password should be their student ID and you should include the first two zero’s.

2. Navigating the Google Classroom

This is the homepage you will arrive at (the students will most likely have only one class

a. You should click on the course title to enter the classroom

The classroom is set up like a blog post…newest material on the top. If you scroll through it you can see all materials, assignments, warm-ups, and announcements posted. On the left side of the classroom are some easy navigation tools:

If you select “view all” from this pane, it will allow you to see all assignments that are due for that class, whether they have been graded and returned, and whether the student has submitted them.

To access this material in an easier format you can also do this:

1. Click on the menu tab at the top left hand corner2. Select the calendar view

You can then see all assignments and questions for the class

You can also choose the assignment option and see a list of all assignment and whether they were turned in on time or not

Some other things to look for:

There are announcements that are posted once a week that include what we are doing for the week, and also have any necessary papers uploaded to that post. You can download all papers by clicking the files attached to the announcement

You can also see all feedback on graded assignments and what their grade was by clicking on the title of the assignment:
