September we select a nominating committee, October a slate is presented, November we elect new officers, and December they are installed . Jerry and I will be in the mountains from July 15 to August 15 . Anyone who would like to come up for a few days can call us . Our phone number is 714-867-9120 or 867-2929 . We would like to talk to people who have ideas for programs for us to give to groups . I would hope for several different programs to put together so anyone could present them when requests are made . A weekend in the mountains would be a good time to plan programs . Russ Hughes has accepted chairmanship for NOC's 1993 Show . He will be getting chairpersons for the different committees ; so if there is a job you want, contact him or me . CFMS Earth Science Studies

A CFMS Earth Science Seminar will be held at Camp Minaluta in the Mother Lode Countrylocated four miles north of Nevada City . There will be lectures on gold, fossils, min-erals, flora and fauna of the area ; field trips to old mining areas and instructionsin our hobby crafts . Our main goal is to provide a place to learn and have fellowshipwith other rockhounds .

The rustic facilities are at a Campfire Girls Camp . The cabins are small with cots andmattresses provided . Each camper is responsible for cleaning his/her cabin. Showersand flush toilets are provided in a separate building nearby.

To register for these fun-filled, interesting seven days, complete this form and mailit with payment in full of $200 .00 per person b August 1 1992 . A small fee will becharged for materials used in classrooms .
