Upon returningto the United States, Ansley trained inNaples, Florida with notable muralists andfaux finishers. She founded theHarding Academy Art Show, being the firstart chairman to invite area artists toparticipate. It is widely considered to bethe original model for all the similar showsnow held by so many entities. Her worksare in several galleries and in collectionsacross the country and abroad. She liveswith her husband Bill, their dog, and fourhorses in Nashville - and one of hergreatest inspirations is their beautiful 20-mile view down a bend of the CumberlandRiver.

Although she has beeninspired by and painted with many artistsover the years, she is mostly self taught. Sheworks to create unique pieces by layeringthe different mediums in a way that will

speak to the viewers with excitement andinterest. She has a passion for abstract art,but also enjoys the occasional change torealism. Her abstract paintings come fromwithin and are rarely preplanned. Vicki’s goalis to create art that is so powerful that itdraws the viewer in with interest, and thatthe sense of style and sophistication will beshared and appreciated by all.

began showing her artwork in multiplelocations including Local Color Gallery(1992-1998), Cheekwood (1993), theHarding Academy Art Show (1997, 2010),and Laurel Leaf Gallery. Today, Ginnycontinues to paint, but has also expandedher creativity to include raising her threeenergetic girls.

60G*0 6%9&: A95K0$5) (Charleston, SC)Laura Lloyd Fontaine’s studio looks over thelow country marsh of Charleston, S.C.When the tide is high, she paddles throughthe narrow creeks and marsh grass and intothe Charleston Harbor. It is from thisvantage point, close to the water in herkayak, that the bones of her landscapepaintings emerge. As the sunsets, she takescountless photographs as the light sparklesacross the water. “I paint what I see, what Ilove, and I paint from my heart.”

J$8805& A933 (Franklin, TN)Tiffany’s primary painting desire is toattempt to capture God’s character andcreation with the depth of colors andvariety of light that we can only appreciateif one stops to pause, and enjoy oursurroundings. Though her first love is topaint en plein air, she also loves to create inthe studio as well. She feels that she willalways be a student of the craft, with thedesire to grow in technique and ability. Shebelieves in a looser approach to painting,which she believes only comes withpractice, gained confidence, and study.

Bonnie received herdegree in education, but found herinspiration to paint when she couldn't findwhat she was looking for in the localgalleries, so she set out to do it herself.Soon after she began her first painting, afriend who happens to be a designer cameto her house and loved it. That’s where herstory as an artist begins.

6)3%$) ,CC0%%)5 I$%>)*K (Nashville, TN)Leslie’s love of art began in childhood.While growing up in Nashville, Tennessee,she was fortunate to have theencouragement of both parents, especiallyher father, artist and illustrator CharlesMcCallen. Since Leslie’s high school years,she has immersed herself in art and hasgrown under the watchful eyes ofwonderful teachers and mentorsdeveloping a style and method all of herown. For the last decade Leslie’s work hasconsisted primarily of oils on canvas,although she occasionally explores othermediums. She enjoys painting cityscapes,street scenes, landscapes, architecture andstill lifes, employing a realistic, yet painterlystyle - in the vein of the impressionists -through which she strives to capture thelight and depth of her subjects. Leslie is alifelong resident of Nashville leaving onlybriefly to study art and photography atAustin Peay State University in Clarksville,Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor ofFine Arts degree in 1990. She has continuedto study art independently while alsoattending numerous painting and drawingclasses and workshops; and for six yearsstudyed under the tutelage of renownedportrait artist Michael Shane Neal.

Elephants are extremelyintelligent, sensitive animals each with adistinct personality, and in our experience,developing a paining style all their own.Hadari is a bright active elephant whichtends to make her mischievous as well.Hadari paints with abandon in loose,sweeping strokes often using many colors.
