• SBN/NOAAPORT-NIDS• NWSTG-NIDS• AWIPS WAN – NIDS• Handling of Tsunami products

– Differences in product formats (WMO, XMPP, SBN/NOAAPORT Packet)

– SBN/NOAAPORT Narrowband to Broadband Expansion impact on 1.8m dish configuration.• Specification compliance issue/situation

• Satellite Product Stream Findings:– For high availability BOTH SBN/NOAAPORT and Open

Interface are required. All messages are captured regardless of format issues.

– 1.8m dish reception of SBN/NOAAPORT PID 201 will have errors and missed messages.• Interference is from an adjacent satellite.• Discussions being held with Raytheon and GlobeComm on possible

mitigations for using 1.8m dishes.

– 2.4m dish reception of SBN/NOAAPORT PID 201 - Good
