Update on Brazil Projects

The main projects of Repsol Sinopec Brasil are the productive fieldsSapinhoa (25% stake) and Albacora Leste (10% stake) and the block BM­C­33 (35% stake), under evaluation (Appraisal) stage. Together,Sapinhoa South and Albacora Leste represent a net production of 39kboe/d, with 33 kboe/d in the first and 6 kboe/d in the second productivefields.

The starting of production in Sapinhoa Norte, (block BM­S­9 — pre­saltSantos Basin), is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2014, with the arrivalof a new FPSO of 150,000 barrels per day (bpd) of oil production capacity.Today’s gross production in Sapinhoa South is 120,000 bpd.

The estimated total recoverable volume of Sapinhoa is 1,3 billion barrelsof oil equivalent (boe) . Also in the BM­S­9 block, the entry into productionof Lapa field (in which Repsol Sinopec owns 25% stake) is scheduled forthe fourth quarter of 2016.

In the block BM­C­33, operated by Repsol Sinopec Brasil with 35% stake,where the discoveries of Pão de Açúcar, Seat and Gávea were made, thecompany is conducting the evaluation (Appraisal) plan of the area.Together, the discoveries, located in the pre­salt area of   the CamposBasin, present estimates resources of over 1 billion barrels of oilequivalent (boe).

Schedule for the ramp up of production in Brazil?

Sapinhoa South: with the hook up of the fourth producing well, theFPSO reached plateau during the month of July. As of today, grossproduction reaches 119.5 Kboe/d of oil and 80.3 Mscf/d of gas.

Sapinhoa North: first oil is expected in 4Q2014 and the field isexpected to reach plateau during 2015.

Lapa: FPSO Cidade Caraguatatuba is expected to be deployed in3Q 2016 with first oil expected in 4Q 2016. The FPSO has a capacityof 100 Kboe/d of oil.

Where are our refining margins currently? Since the end of the Q214, products’ spreads have been increasing,especially the middle distillates’ spread, while the oil price has beendecreasing. This effect, mainly resulted in an improvement in margins,both in July and in August, thanks to our optimized refining system,which is totally interconnected and among the bests in Europe.

Current situation in Libya The security situation in Libya remains an uncertainty. Yet no damagesare detected at our facilities since the conflict began. Current productionstands at 220 ­ 250 Kboe/d gross level.

We come back from holidays facing a busy month of September full ofmarketing activities. The IR team will or has attended five InvestorConferences during the month (please be aware that as of today, someconferences have already taken place):

One in New York (Barclays CEO Energy Conference).

Two in London, (JP Morgan Oil& Gas Investor Forum and Bernstein AnnualPan European Strategic Decisions Conference).

One in Frankfurt (Big Caps ESN Seminar).

Also, at the end of September, the IR team will be attending the ItauCommodities Conference in Rio de Janeiro. This event will be completedwith a Roadshow in Sao Paulo, following our objective of opening newmarkets and meeting new investors.

During this week, we have held our traditional lunch with Sell Side Analysts,both in London and in Madrid.
