A talk as part of the 'Lifting the lid on ethnographic research' for The Research Thing. http://www.meetup.com/researchthing/events/150350262/ This presentation will describe a project with the objective of supporting our client's determination to deliver more specialised care for individuals living with dementia. Talking through some of the harder and more comedic moments of fieldwork, this presentation explores the lives, experiences and desires of people living in dementia care homes. This project won the Virginia Valentine Award for Cultural Insight at the 2012 MRS Awards.TRANSCRIPT
