It is that time of year again! Please join us for
Kindergarten Round-Up Tuesday, April 16th begin-
ning at 6:30pm. This event will be held in our
school cafeteria and is open to parents only. Dur-
ing the meeting teachers will be discussing our Kin-
dergarten Program and you will also have classroom
visits. After the meeting is over, Stacy Bloedorn
(Registrar) will be avail-
able to make appoint-
ments for Pre-
Registration beginning
April 17th. Hope to see
you there!
No Place for Hate
Our school is participating in a campaign sponsored
by the Anti-Defamation League called No Place
for Hate. Our goal is to be recognized as a No
Place for Hate campus. This week, our students
will be discussing Random Acts of Kindness. The
students will learn the power of spreading kindness
throughout their classroom, school, and community.
The students will participate in discussions on how
it feels to give or receive an act of kindness and
how it can change attitudes. Classrooms will then
choose and perform Random Acts around the
school. At home, you can help your child(ren) look
for opportunities to show kindness and gratitude.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” ~ Aesop
Kindergarten is planting the seeds of knowledge!
Kindergarten will be learning about many characteristics of seeds. As we get to dissect
a seed, we will be learning about its parts. We also will be learning about what a seed
needs in order to grow. Not to mention our students will examine various types of
seeds and will get to classify them based on their physical characteristics.
Please send your child’s seed to school no later than Friday, April 12th. We will accept a variety of
seeds (all shapes, colors, and sizes).
Important Reminders –
• You may have noticed that on occasion your child receives a math activity page in their folder. We ask
that you complete this activity at home with your child and return it to school the next day.
• Girls need to wear shorts under skirts or dresses.
Please remember to sign your child’s take home folder each night and take out notes daily.
