From the Pastor
Walking through the Christmas Season always brings a variety of life
events and this year is no different. Several of our church families are
going through difficult times and we are praying for God's grace and
mercy in each. We have also witnessed great generosity by many who
have ensured other families will enjoy a great Christmas. It has been a
blessing to see many of you involved in ministry to neighbors, friends,
and families. By your own willingness to give, our Lottie Moon
Christmas Offering has crossed the $24,000 mark. Our ladies did a wonderful job
inviting, decorating, and hosting during our annual Christmas by Candlelight tea.
I would like to thank Becky for her leadership and direction as well as her leadership
team.
Our Christmas Musical was terrific! It is truly a blessing to hear the message of Christ
set to music and our choir did an amazing job. Thank you Glynn and choir for the
hours of preparation needed to rehearse and prepare.
We have had several enquiries of church membership and baptism. Be in prayer for
guests who are sensitive to the Holy Spirit's prompting. The Lord is allowing IBC to
connect with new believers and spiritually mature folks searching for a church home.
We were blessed to welcome Patti Martin to our fellowship this past Sunday!
Keep inviting people to come along with you. The Christmas Eve Service will begin
at 5:00 pm as to not interfere with family traditions you may have. Many people are
looking for a Christmas Eve Service, so don't be bashful including friends, neighbors,
or family.
Blessed to be your pastor,
Bro. Tommy
