Community involvement
I have lived in the local Armadale catchment area since
1970 and was privileged to be invited onto the Armadale
Health Service Consumer Advisory Council in 2011
There is growing evidence about the importance of
partnerships between health service organisations,
health professionals, patients, families, carers and
consumers
ACHS surveyor feedback 2014 -
“The enthusiastic CAC members represent all areas of the facility and are
readily accepted as the norm by all staff”.

When a patient is prescribed antibiotics, information about when,
how and for how long to take them, as well as potential side effects
