Asylum before R. Fairbairn, R.M. and Coroner, on the body of Johu Smith, exp., late 8769, who died at the Asylum on the 23rd ult. Verdict—" Death from natural causes."

Pinjarra.—On the 16th ult., before B. T. Heuston, R.M. and Coroner, touching the destruction by fire at Coologup, on the Sth ult., of 1 hay stack, 1 shed, and a quantity of farming implements, the property of Hugh John Butcher. Verdict — " Cause of fire unknown."

Boebourne.—On the 2nd ult., at the Court House, before E. F. Angelo, R.M. and Coroner, touching the

destruction by fire, on the 25th March last, of a dwel­ling house, the property of William Coflfen. Ver­dict—" Cause of fire unknown."

Beverley.—On or about the 6th ult., from a truck at the Eailway station,—2 cases port wine, marked JEB, the property of John Evan, and 1 large chest of tea, marked HHS, the property of H. H. Sewell. —C.I. 228.

Mount Barker.—On the 2nd inst., from 2 tents at the 75-mile Railway camp,—a quantity of clothing-, sundries and rations, the property of Henry B. Sanko, John Tracey, and James Breen. This property, excepting I pair of light boots and the rations, has been recovered by P. C. Wall, found concealed in the bush at the 96-ijaile «G-. S. R. WiUiam Wilson, exp., late 10268, known as " Bull Pup," committed this larceny. Vide Warrants Issued.—C.I. 229.

Description:— Victorian, produce and cattle dealer, 24 years of age, 5 ft. 11 inches high, thin build, round shoulders, fair complexion, hair fair to light brown; the latter inclined to curl, fair moustache only, sharp features, prominent nose; wore dark grey sac suit and black boxer ha t ; res­pectable appearance.

I t is believed he will endeavor to leave the Colony, if he has not already done so, as he has committed a number of extensive forgeries. He left Warrnambool on the 15th ult.

The following additional particulars have been supplied regarding this offender:— Offender's hair is of a light brown color and his moustache very fair. He has a short upper lip, and very dull eyes with long fair eyelashes. About two years ago he carried on a produce business in partnership with a man named Shanahan at Bridge Road, Richmond.—0. 4069. 5. 5. 89.

Missing Friends. Ezekiel Humphrey, said to have been either master

or mate of a vessel which sailed from San Francisco (California) for Australia in or about the year 1851, a large number of passengers being on board the vessel.

Daniel Dobson, a farm laborer, present age 75, who arrived in W. A. from England in or about the year 1842, and has not communicated with his rela­tives since 1870. His brother Christophe recently died in England, leaving property, to a share of which the missing man is entitled.

Stout, 40 years ot age, 5ft. 4in. high, brow-n hair, oval visage, dark complexion, bayonet stab in neck, D left side, bullet mark on right leg, willow left arm, J right arm.

Missing Friends. Information is requested concerning the present

whereabouts of any of a family named Coulson, who are supposed to have been located in the Swan Dis­t r ic t about 10 years ago, and at t ha t t ime consisted of father, mother , and 9 sons. The lat ter are be­lieved to h£(,ve been settled on farms and two of them were in the Volunteer force. The mother 's maiden name was El iza Jackson, of Dogsthorpe, near Peter-boro', Eng land , and her sister Susan was married to a tailor named Perr in at Peterboro ' .
