NMCI Security roles

• Establishes policies and procedures for all Navy networks• Approves Certification and Accreditation of the network

• Operations (NNSOC)– Operationally directs the contractor

• Implement Information Assurance Vulnerabilities-Alerts / Bulletins / Technical Advisories (IAV-A / B / TA)

Current Readiness : Highly trained, professionally certified, and experienced Sailors to run Network Operations Center -- increases capability, decreases response time, & increases readiness of Navy & USMC under NMCI

Future Readiness : Return IT21 “Top Guns” to the Fleet
