Round UpHockey: Hockey lost scrimmage to Mentor 3-2 on Friday night, and won scrimmage at Midview 4-2 on Sunday afternoon. This weekend, the hockey team will host scrimmages at NORC on Saturday vs. Orange and Sunday vs. Westlake. Puck drops at 3:15 both days. The team will open the regular season in the Bruce Anderson Memorial Tournament at Ries Rink in Parma over Thanksgiving weekend, opening the tournament on November 29 at 12:45 pm against Normandy.

Girls Basketball:The Middle School girls basketball season opened last week. The 7th graders are off to a great start recording wins over SWC rivals Middleburg Heights and Westlake during the first week of play. Stand-out players on the 7th grade team during the first two contests were Alex Diamantis, Gabrielle Hicks, Maansi Patel, Amira Massey, and Nina Bencivengo. The 8th grade team lost two tough games this past week. In a tight 6 point loss to Westlake, stand-out players were DeeAnna Yarian, Ronnette Rohmon and Abigail Beck.The HS girls basketball teams open their season at Avon HS on Fri, November 21 at 4:30, 6:00 and 7:30pm.A huge thank you to all of you who supported the girls basketball family Wing Night fundraiser on November 9. Because of you, the event was a huge success! THANK YOU!!!!Go Lady Eagles!
