CLASS I
1. The schedule for class/unit assessments and activities is given in the syllabus booklet and school calendar. Make your child revise the work done in all the
books and notebooks.
2. The child should prepare few poems for competitions and assemblies. (English & Hindi both).
3. The child should learn a story with a good moral for class-interaction. Lay stress upon actions, expression & clarity. (English & Hindi both)
4. Practice cursive writing in the writing book (till pg 45)
5. Practice writing in Sulekh Mala (till pg 25)
6. Maths book do pg 23 to 32, 65 to 69, 107, 108, 111 &112.
7. The child should be encouraged to converse in English with the family members, relatives and friends.
8. Design a table mat depicting tables, genders and opposites. (laminate it)
9. Design a chart according to your Roll No. on half cartridge sheet.

CLASS II

2. The child should be prepared with a poem of at least 15-18 lines for Recitation
Competition. (English & Hindi both).
3. The child should learn a story with a good moral for story-telling competition
(English & Hindi both). Lay stress upon action, expression & clarity.
4. Converse in English.
5. The child should be encouraged to frame 5-7 sentences on any topic of his/her
choice. (English & Hindi both).
6. Bring self-composed articles for the School Magazine.
7. In order to inculcate good reading habit & improve vocabulary, kindly provide
your ward with some good age appropriate books. Also lay stress upon fluency,
pronunciation, expression & intonation. Enlist them in the Books I have Read
column in the diary.

Write a story with a good moral in a decorative manner. Draw / paste
related pictures.

poems.

1. Select any 5 countries. Learn the names of their currencies. Paste pictures too. 2. Find out the ages of people in your family. Then find out the differences between
their ages and your age. Paste the pictures of the family members in the columns-
(see pg-56 for example)
EVS:
1. Collect pictures of any 5 different workers (helpers). Paste them in the scrap file
and name them and write one line about them.
2. Collect some leaves and flowers. Press them between newspaper and put weight
over them. When they are dry, paste them in the scrap file and name them.
3. Draw the different traffic signs you see on the road and name them. Write two
lines on road safety.
ART & CRAFT:
1. Make a beautiful pen holder

COMPUTER:
1. Read Chapter-2
2. Make cut outs of parts of computer using A-3 size sheet.
G.K. :
1. Paste pictures of any 2 monuments and write five lines about it in scrap file.

CLASS III
Dear children,
We are sure you all must be eagerly waiting for your holidays. You must
have started making plans to visit hill stations or beaches, to visit your grandparents and
relatives and joining some activity classes with your friends or cousins.
We wish that you enjoy every moment of this long summer break. It will be great if you
are able to find time to visit monuments, museums & places of heritage, learn new
activities, explore new things, play indoor & outdoor games, read as many story books
as you can, go for walks with your family and appreciate nature, cultivate good manners
and habits and help your parents & grandparents during this break.
We are giving you a variety of interesting activities, projects and worksheets which you
can do during noon time. Do them neatly and submit the work to your teachers after the
vacation ( as per the dates mentioned )
Wishing all of you a fun-packed summer break.

I- Creative Learning CHART ON MAT
Paste 15-18 colourful, bright and bold pictures related to the given topics (according to
the Roll No.) and prepare an attractive Table Mat. * Get it laminated as well.

1. Learn the tables from 11 to 15.
2. Solve the practice sheets attached.
3. Record the weight (in kilograms) of each of your family member. Convert the
figures in grams. Now write them in ascending order. Find out who has got the
maximum and the minimum weight out of all.
4. Enlist the activities that you can complete in a minute. (Try them first and then
challenge your friends and cousins too. )
5. Make a tangram depicting any bird or animal using triangular cut-outs of glitter
sheets.
6. Magic Wheel: Write the digits from 1 to 9 in the circles in such a way that the
sum of the three numbers in a row is 15.
EVS:
1. Plant a sapling at home and take care of it. Bring it to school and share how you
nurtured it.
2. R.No.1-11 - Observe the animals in your locality. Group them into various
categories : a) walk & run b) crawl c) fly d) swim
R.No.12-22 - Collect pictures of different means of transport from ancient to
modern times. Name them.
R.No.23-33 - Most states in India have state birds. Find out the names of state
birds of any four states. What are their habits? Where do they nest? Gather this
information along with the pictures.
R.No.33-44 - Follow the moon every night before going to bed. Record your
observation in a tabular form for a month (from 1st June to 30
th June)
