The evening’s Asbury-centric line-up includes Here’s The Story: The Asbury (8PM) (bottom right), a profile of the first new hotel in Asbury Park in 60 years and how its presence may encourage prosperity for the boardwalk town. Music fans will tune in for Driving Jersey: Stone Pony (8:30PM), a look at the legendary music venue during a battle of the bands competition, and Front and Center: Southside Johnny (9PM) (bottom left), a staple in Jersey’s music scene, having released 12 studio albums since 1976 and featuring a rotating group of members like Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Steve Van Zandt. In addition to the on-air broadcast, NJTV will also host a community forum in Asbury Park to dig deeper into the issues facing the community. NJTV In Your Neighborhood is a thought-provoking and informative combination of news, special programming and community engagement events, using on-air and digital platforms and special events to showcase some of the Garden State’s most dynamic places.
