REPAINTING A VEHICLE when the body is still in great condition may not be an afterthought after all, because, lets be honest, colour choices provided by the manufacturers are limited and there is a very good reason for that. Typically on any vehicle, steel and aluminium are not the only materials to be painted on, as there are also plastic components to be painted on without losing consistency in terms of colours and tone. The experienced painters of Better Coach Builders Sdn Bhd have painted both the Ducati

Multistrada and the Kawasaki in their new colours, where According to Muhamad Zaidi bin Majid, the Business & Development Advisor of Better Coach Builders Sdn Bhd, the re-paint of both bikes has followed and used the standard operating procedure using Nippon Paint’s nax Premila 2K total painting system, which is nax 238 2K primer, nax Premila 8000 Base coat with each colour, and nax Premila 9800 Clear 2K Premium Hi Solid 2:1. The complex designs on the motorcycles were possible not by using stickers, but instead were painted over the base layer by using stencils that were made out by masking off unwanted areas.
