2 Reports2.1 President’s Report

Another season has come and gone. Not as dramatic as seasons past, but still a season of memoriesto be cherished.

From preseason training in August, to state sides playing practice matches on Ken Mackay, newplayers, double tons and debuts. Not many clubs in the world can turn on a TV set and see twoplayers in National colours.

Our club is laden with talent, past, present and future. This season saw the retirement of our latesttest player, Ryan Harris. His determination to push himself to the absolute peak of his profession, serves as a reminder to all in our four walls, a reminder that talent is nothing without effort.

How lucky we are to lose Ryan Harris from our current Australia representatives and still boast twoother internationals. Chris Lynn and Cameron Boyce continue to be fantastic ambassadors of ourgreat club, and the outcry from around the country after their missed selection to the World Cupshould serve as some consolation to this travesty.

The same players starred throughout the BBL, Boycey led the Hurricanes wicket taking tally, including match winning strikes vs the Heat at the Gabba.

One player though dominated the headlines throughout the country, and Lynnsanity became aneveryday word. At times his striking left us speechless, or hoarse as I can attest to from a few Gabbavisits. Sandhu is still looking for his ball. I wish to commend Chris specifically on his leadership, especially in trying times, be it injury or team performance. I think back to the young cricketerstanding on the sloped cricket oval in Vanuatu, unsure of himself, to become the face of theBrisbane Heat, congratulations.

Our Ryobi Cup contingent was cut down by injury, pre and during the tournament, butcongratulations to Charlie who made his domestic one-day debut for QLD.

The Sheffield Shield saw Toombul’s top order batsmen star. Matthew Renshaw showed he belongsat the next level with his mixture of patience and explosive power, second most sixes in thecompetition. Well done Matt, leading run scorer for your state is an achievement that can never betaken from you. Charlie returned from injury to guide the Bulls home vs Tasmania and his century vWA nearly saw the Bulls home in what appeared to be a day/night shield game.

Lynny also returned to the side post BBL, and shone with a typically aggressive century at the WACAand then a valiant attempt to do the improbable at the Gabba with 80 off just 46 deliveries. Andwhile it may not have held the success that he had hoped for Boycey still played Shield cricket thisseason and responded to his dropping by taking wickets for the 2nd XI, as well as starring against theWindies for the Cricket Australia XI.

Other players to represent the club this season included Mark Thompson and Jackson Paton at theImparja Cup and Jacob Wood who represented QLD in the under 17s.

Another magnificent moment in our club’s year was the elevation of Jeff Thomson and Wally Groutto the Hall of Fame for Australian Cricket, a proud, historic and great moment for “our little club.

It is always with an eye to the future that club must look. It is our coaches and support staff thatprovide the environment for our player to grow and succeed. Ian, Tom, Brian, H, Matt, Ronan, Gavin,Chic and Hendo with the senior club, First and Third Grade in the semis and 5th grade a point away isa reflection of your efforts this season.

To Bernadette, Stephen and Kel, and anyone else who gave up their time to score for the club, thankyou.

To Mitch, Gary, Rod and all the helpers with the Tavs, this season has seen a corner turned, and thefuture looks bright with the planning for 2016/17 already underway.

To Gav and Irene, your continued support of the club is always appreciated. To Grantly, Regan,Shooksy and all who have worked on the grounds this season, each year we receive morecompliments as to the appearance of our club.

Our club is continuing grow from the ground up, from Friday nights, to Saturday mornings, fromjuniors to tavs, to seniors, to the Gabba and beyond.

I know I speak of it every season, but if you have never seen a Friday night at the club, you don’trealise the magnitude of what goes on, and just how important it is to the club. We started with 30Milo kids and 60 snags, and this number has grown year on year. This season we had over 423children starting their cricketing journey at Toombul on a Friday night. Add their parents, grandparent, brothers and sisters and over 1500 people come through our club every week. And thisnumber is filtering up through the ranks, our juniors now number in the 700s, and in the comingyears we hope to see this influx reach our senior teams.

To our coaches on Fridays, Mitch, Tom and Brian, Rob, Jake, Frankie, Bomber, James, Renners,Steinsy, Regan, Melinda and Kerry on the bar, Stimp, Watto and Kel, you are the face of this club toour next generation and from our survey the comments about how well you represent yourselvesand the club, you should be proud, and your club is indebted. It is a note of how long we have beendoing this, some of my past Milo participants, Oscar, Liam and Marcus are now coaching on Fridays.

The true hero of Friday nights though is Kathleen. Kathleen is our hero on Fridays, Saturdays andSundays, and some Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays. Thank you Kate, but if you everydecided to get sick again, please don’t choose Friday afternoons!

To the committees Junior and Senior thank you for all the work that goes in behind the scenes.

To the Juniors committee, John, Murray, Roger, Tim, Barry, Melinda, Garth and Gerard, without yourwork we would not be in the position we are in today. Some of them are moving on and they will bemissed, not only professionally, but many have become good friends.

To Ron, Kel, Watto, Richie, Spic, Stimp, Steve, Adam and Schooners thank you for the time, energyand love that you put into this club. We have learnt plenty from this season, we have built a plan andwe look to the future to continue building this club into what it can be. The time will come to sharemore details of your specific efforts, but rest assured that your work is not unnoticed.

Personally, I would like to thank my wife for putting up with my love of Toombul. To Teddy and Alfie,to my mum and dad and sister, who take Teddy every Friday night so I can ‘work’, and are alwaysthere to look after me. I wouldn’t be standing here without them.

To Schooners, mate, brother. I’m not sure how you don’t win Clubman of the Year every season. Youkeep this place ticking and without your efforts none of this would be possible.

I leave you with two bookends to the season. At the start of the season we spoke as a club ofRespect. Respect comes in many shapes and forms. Respect doesn’t exist by not doing something, itis generated from action. Respect comes from doing. Your committee, coaches and other volunteerswant to do things, we have plans and aspirations for this club and area. But when we don’t showrespect to our club it is often left to those the few to fix it up. It’s answering an email, it’s picking upyour rubbish, its leaving a space better than when you arrived. If we don’t have to worry about thelittle things we can direct our attention to the big things, the big projects and the big ideas. Thereare a 1000 ways you can help your club, a 1000 ways for you to show respect. We started the seasonwith that message, but did we live up to it? I am preaching somewhat to the choir, you aren’t the 8people in the last 24 hours who have pulled out of coming tonight, or some of the people whohaven’t paid fees. We all love the good times, but who emailed me a photo for the slide show at theend? I know at times I struggle with the motivation to do that bit extra, we all do, but I will take youback a month ago.

At the end of another Friday night, Thomas, walked the grounds with me as I packed up. He pickedup markers, he got bits of paper, and we talked as we walked around Ken Mackay and La Frantzcollecting the bins, turning off lights and picking up stumps. He spoke to me about how long he hadbeen at the club and how much he loved ‘his club’. For Thomas, it was 15 minutes of his life that hemay never remember again, but for me it is a memory I will cherish as much as any win or century. So what is so special about that?

Because Thomas is 6 years old, a Milo participant. Long after his lesson had finished, he came andsaid he was going to help, because Toombul was his club, and that’s what you do at Toombul.

Toombul has long been about the people, not just the players. A player for Toombul is an easy markto achieve, you pay your fees, train and you play. But to be a Toombul person takes a little bit extra.People like La Frantz and Anstey, Holding, Mammino, Frei, Sweeney, Tibbits, Murphy and Cranstounhave all demonstrated what it takes to be a Toombul person. Knighty, a life member of the clubalready, who spent countless hours to find the complete list of first grade caps for the club, so thatwhen you earn the honour of representing our club’s top side, you have the knowledge of beingnumber 588 or 612.

It’s about giving back that little bit to the place that gives us all so much.

So as we look back on 15/16 and towards the coming season, are you going to be that Toombulperson? We all can do it, Thomas Sweeney is 6 years old and he could do it.

I look at this club and I am filled with hope. We can do it, we will do it, because we are Toombulpeople.

It’s good to be a Bull.

2.2 Treasurer’s ReportThe committee has built up a strong financial position for the club in recent years. As we approachedthe, 2016 financial year, the club was in a position to develop a long term strategic plan, undertakemajor infrastructure projects, and commence improvements to the grounds and surrounds, assistedby funding from sources such as Queensland Cricket and the Brisbane City Council.

The operating result for the 2016 financial year was an accounting loss of $24,422 compared to aprofit of $28,614 in 2016.

The following are the main points to note from the operating result for 2016: Once again, we experienced significant growth in our Milo In2Cricket program and revenue

generated from registration fees and canteen sales. The major increase in expenditure was on facilities, including an upgrade to the practice

nets, repairs to the canteen, repairs to fencing, and drainage improvements. It is importantto note that whilst these expenses were incurred in the 2016 financial year, the club appliedsuccessfully for a grant from Queensland Cricket which was received in the 2017 financialyear.

The committee engaged the services of a consultant to assist in developing the club strategicplan, in conjunction with the club’s members. We note that the club successfully applied fora grant to fund the consultant’s fees which was received in the 2015 financial year.

In comparison to the 2015 financial year, coaching costs increased due to an increase in thenumber of junior coaches required to assist with the Milo In2Cricket program. Also, fundswere budgeted for coaches in 2015 who were ultimately unable to fulfil duties – thereforethe comparative cost of coaching in 2015 was lower than usual.

Due to the successful application of a number of grants to fund various expenditure incurred in the2016 and the current financial years, the cash position of the club has strengthened significantly. Atthe time of writing this report (10 August 2016) there was a surplus of $100,385.26 of cash.

This is very pleasing and continues to build on the good financial platform established over recentyears. This has been made possible through the hard work and diligence of the committee and clubvolunteers.

It has been exciting and challenging year for the club and we look forward to the year ahead.

2.3 First GradeOverall – 4th

Two Day – 4th (7W, 4L)One Day – 4th (2W, 1L)T20 – 7th (1W, 1L, 2N/R)

The side was much changed from the previous season with the loss of several key experiencedplayers. Missing from the team who competed in the grand final in 2015 were Australian Test playerRyan Harris, who’s knees finally gave way and enforced his retirement, Luke Pomersbach whoreturned to Perth, Glen Batticciotto who returned to his first club, Sandgate on an ACA Scholarshipand Chris Sabburg who went to Wests. Additionally, we proudly provided 4 players to theQueensland Bulls, with Chris Lynn, Cameron Boyce, Charlie Hemphrey and Matthew Renshaw. Onthe positive side, these significant losses were off-set by the acquisition of Brendan Nash on an ACAscholarship. Brendan provided excellent leadership to a young group of players and contributed 663runs at 60.27 scoring 3 hundreds and 2 50s. The change of personnel was highlighted by the numberof debuts made; Nash, Winton, McDonald (S), Dawes, Davies.

The season closely followed the pattern of the previous year. Starting with the one-day competition,we failed to build on winning the first two games (Sunshine Coast (a) on D/L (Hemphrey 100) andNorths (H) on the back of Lynn’s 209, failing to qualify after losing to a Batticciotto inspired defeatagainst Sandgate (H) despite a maiden one-day ton from Tom Rowley.

In the 2-day competition we were Khawaja’d in game one, with the test player scoring a doublehundred and despite a very promising 80 by Tom Rowley we were disappointingly bowled out for178. We then lost badly at home to Wests before bouncing back with a stunning win away toWynnum. This game was marked by a hat-trick by Stuart McDonald who finished with 5/57 on his 2-day debut and a hard-nosed 110* by Preston White who finished the game by smashing the ball overthe pavilion in fading light in the 97th and last but one over of the innings.

However, the good work was wiped out at home the following game with a poor home performancewith the bat resulting in us losing heavily to eventual champions, Redlands. We followed this byhitting rock bottom, being bowled out for 108 chasing 175 at Dolphins, despite having 5 first classplayers in the team.

Our early slump meant that almost every game from late November onwards meant that everygame was sudden death with any defeat almost certain to eliminate our finals chances. We showedincredible resilience in each of these ’must win’ games and put together a remarkable 5 straightvictories. The pleasing factor in these wins was that the majority were achieved on the back ofoutstanding individual performances across the team. In essence, someone stood up when needed.

Norths were first demolished once again powered by Lynn’s 259, before we returned in January tobowl Sandgate out for 299 after posting a powerful 4/429 (Hemphrey 107; Nash 122*). We thendemolished Souths by 114 runs on first innings, knocking off 353 at Ipswich Logan which saw alandmark innings for Sam Howse, who led the side home with his maiden First Grade century (116*).The season came down to a must win last game of the season versus our nemesis of 2015,University. University had already qualified for the finals with a landslide win in first place, however, afters coring a mammoth 7/429, we closed out the game on the final day of the normal season, bowling out a powerful batting line up for 249.

Leading wicket taker was Preston White (28 wickets at 26.61) who switched to left arm orthodoxspin for the first half of the season before reverting back to swing/seam shortly after Christmas.Preston once again demonstrated his all-round value to the team scoring 520 runs at 37.14.

While the batting was generally strong, we struggled in key games; specifically, against Redlands andDolphins (with everyone available) and in the Semi-final at University (when all State players weremissing). The stand out batsman of the year was Chris Lynn, who despite only playing 7 gamesscored 758 at 151.60 including 209 & 259, both against Norths and 185 against University. Inaddition, no one who was there will ever forget his astonishing 66* off 20 balls at the end of day 1 ofa 2-day game against Sunshine Coast. While Chris was unable to continue the next day due toQueensland commitments, his spectacular assault set up a fine victory the next day as we knockedoff 353 to win.

The bowling attack suffered from the loss of former Queensland bowler, Ronan McDonald for thevast majority of the season playing only 3 games due to injury. His 6/69 v Souths hinted at what wehad been missing in terms of his firepower and leadership of a young bowling group. The lack ofpenetration with the bowling was highlighted by the fact we only had one other “five for” in thewhole season and no one apart from Preston making the top 20 bowlers in the competition or taking20 wickets.

2.4 Second GradeOverall – 7th

Two Day – 9th (1WO, 4W, 6L)One Day – 8th (1W, 2L)T20 – 5th (1W, 1L, 2N/R)

After a number of ‘lean’ years, Toombul’s Second Grade side began the process of turning theirfortunes around in season 2015/16. It began by playing a more competitive and hardnosed brand ofcricket which has evaded the side over recent years. After a disappointing pre-Christmas period, theteam was able to string together five wins, including an outright, coming toward seasons end. Thismeant the chance of playing finals cricket was a real possibility; however, an agonising loss againstSouth’s essentially laid those hopes to rest with two rounds to go.

Frequent soft dismissals, disastrous batting collapses and lacklustre bowling and fielding effortswhich have plagued second grade in years gone by, should now be a thing of the past given that anucleus of players have been exposed to second grade cricket for three or more years. With thisincreased experience comes a greater responsibility for individuals to stand up and win games ofcricket for Toombul with bat and ball.

Nonetheless, Brisbane Grade Cricket is tough, and it will require more than just experienced playersto bring Premiership Flag’s back to Oxenham Park. In my humble opinion, those playing secondgrade next year, whoever they may be, should continue to adopt the philosophy that worked so wellfor the side in the latter stages of the season: Be disciplined and methodical; disciplined enough tojob your job without error, and methodical in being able to do it ball after ball, over after over, session after session and day after day. If you have eleven men playing this way, you need not worryabout the end result, as it will look after itself.

A few thank you’s must go to the following: Chris Boyce, for his admirable and accomplishedleadership of second grade throughout season 2015/16. To Chic Leeder, whose work behind thescenes is immeasurable; your commitment to Second Grade and the Club, along with your wisecounsel is truly appreciated. A thankyou also must go to Ian Renshaw and Brendan Nash in theirroles coaching and mentoring the senior squad in season 2015/16. The last, but most importantthankyou goes to the countless volunteers who keep our club operating in a successful fashion; forwithout people volunteering their time, this great club would cease to exist.

Well done to all those who enjoyed personal success this year, with bat, ball and glove in each grade;and congratulations also goes to those who have gone on to play higher honours. Yet, while thesemilestones and achievements are important, I honestly believe that the true mark of our club’ssuccess is not counted in the personal tallies of hundreds and five wicket hauls. Rather, it is countedby premierships, and this year we failed to grasp a single one. I challenge every ‘Bul in 2016/17, putpersonal gain second, put winning first, and do what so few at this club have done in the last twentyyears - taste victory in March.

My best wishes to you all for next season.

2.5 Third GradeOverall – 4th (2WO, 5W, 3D, 3L)

Third grade had a winning season highlighted by two convincing outright victories against Wynnum-Manly and University.

Against Wynnum it was the Stephen Timms and Liam Morris show after a classy 51* from Mike Davisgave the Bulls a 61 run first innings lead after declaring 7 down. 61 proved too many for Wynnum asTimms claimed his first five wicket haul for the Bulls with 6/24 and was ably supported by Morriswith 4/14 to complete the rout with only 39 runs on the board. At one stage Wynnum slumped to6/1 after a ten ball spell saw them lose 5 for none (dot, wicket, dot, wicket, dot, wicket, dot, wicket, dot, wicket) including an incredible one handed grab at short cover by Benny Armstrong.

Against University, Morris claimed 5/34 as the Students fell for 90. A strong all-round battingperformance with seven batsmen reaching 20+ and saw the Bulls post 296. In the second innings itwas Josh Shuard, returning from injury, who collected a five-for to secure the outright win and semi-final qualification for the Bulls.

Other strong performances throughout the year included:

Posting 328 in a 40 over fixture against Ipswich-Logan thanks to James Jennings (87 off 68with 7x6s), Dylan Shooks (90 off 89) and Andrew Oldham (42* off 19)

Shooks (85*) and Saurabh Kumar (40*) chasing down 137 for the loss of no wickets againstUniversity [2]

Benny Armstrong (76 off 72) crashing the side to 4/170 off 46 overs chasing 178 againstValleys before getting called off for bad light

Stoic resistance from Brendan Mahaffey for 50 not out (164 balls) to hold on for a drawagainst Redlands as the rest of the batting order faltered

In the semi-final, Wests were too good on their home track as they posted 318 off 98 overs whichproved too much as the Bulls fell chasing the target.

Armstrong (328 runs @ 41) and Shooks 251 @50 were the pick of the batsmen for the season withregular contributions from skipper Joel Henderson, Kumar, Timms and Jennings.

Morris was the standout performer of the side with 23 wickets in the regular season at 6.39 to winthe Third Grade competition bowling average trophy. Another impressive statistic was collecting 47maidens from only 112 overs bowled during the year. Morris was supported by Oldham and Timmswith 21 and 16 wickets respectively.

2.6 Fourth GradeOverall – 12th (2W, 1T, 1D, 9L)

This year’s 4th grade side was young to say the least, often fielding a team with an average age of 16!Although the squad was young they always fought hard, giving many more seasoned fourth gradesides a run for their money.

Early in the season, the results were fairly ordinary. However, the boys managed to get a win afterChristmas which came off the back of an unlikely Rob Lutton half century and an amazing RyanWilson spell of 6-24 (which were also the best fourth grade figures for the season). Although we onlyhad one other win, a tie and a drawn match, the season could have been much different if a bit ofluck went our way.

Although the results weren’t the best, I do honestly believe that this team has great potential, withsome of the most talented young cricketers playing in this grade at one stage or another.

2.7 Fifth GradeOverall – 5th (1WO, 4W, 3D, 4L)

It was an up and down season for 5th grade this year, with a strong performances post-Christmasgetting us into finals contention only for us to falter before the line to finish just outside the four.

Although it was a season of inconsistency, with our batting and bowling taking turns each game tobe our weakness, there were many positives to take from the experience.

Unearthed through the course of the season were a plethora of young players who performed forfives and showed that they have the potential to be playing up the grades. Some examples areFrankie Futcher who made second drop his own averaging 38 for the season; Jack Barrett who camethrough for us multiple times with the bat, Dave Memmott who anchored the bowling for most ofthe season and Nick Boyce who provided brilliance in the field.

Also of note are the senior players who provided the core and heart of the team delivering game ingame out for us this season. Special mentions to Warren Dillon with an unbeaten century; JamieCroon with 21 wickets in 5 games, including 2 5fas and a Hat Trick and Matt Stimpson with many tidyovers and handy wickets.

We also uncovered a couple of older ‘new’ talents in Ben Twidale and Harry Poteri who bothperformed well throughout the season.

Special Mentions for the following:

Centurieso Warren Dillon 117* v Souths

Michelleso Jamie Croon 7/6 v Universityo Jamie Croon 6/17 v Westso Brad Wickham 5/18 v Universityo Matt Stimpson 5/22 v Valleyso Jackson Paton 5/39 v Valleys

On a personal note, thanks to the entire coaching staff throughout the summer. Thanks to Hendo, tough gig as Selector, but thanks for listening and always trying to put the best team on the park. Thanks to the Committee for giving me the privilege of captaining fives this year.

And finally, thanks to all the players involved this season in what was a thoroughly enjoyable season.Look forward to going further next season and trying to take home the silverware.

2.8 Sixth GradeOverall – 6th (1WO, 4W, 1D, 7L)

A season with a lot of potential but simply not enough runs or mental fortitude with the bat tosecure key victories. As is the usual in 6th grade, quite a few new faces coming to the club trying theirhand with varying levels of experience. Of particular note was Harry Poteri who performed well withbat and ball and showed grit at key moments throughout the season. A core group of players helpedgive the team some stability throughout the season.

On the whole the team performed very well with the ball and in the field which meant we werealways in hunt. The side took 10 wickets in every innings except one. With excellent seasonperformances from Sanjeev and Jayden, both taking more than 20 wickets for the season. The lesssaid about the batting, the better. Inconsistent is the most appropriate word to describe battingperformances, on no less than three occasions 5 wickets fell for less than 20 runs with four gamesbeing lost by less than 30 runs. Winning games is very difficult with those collapses. Outside the 4was where we deserved to be.

A big thanks to all the support staff who make our games possible. A big thanks to everyone whoplayed 6s last year, if it’s your first season playing grade make it your goal to move beyond 6th grade.6th grade is a great place to learn the game and put pressure on those in the grades above. Lots ofwork to be done in the off season to build on some already good performances from 2015/2016.

2.9 Under 17 Lord TavernersOverall – 5th (2W, 1D, 3L)

We started the year with the squad down on numbers, and to be fair, too light on talent to competewith the better teams. Struggling to even field a full side in the first two rounds, it was quicklydecided that our focus for the season needed to move away from the scoreboard, and instead focuson development and blooding of younger players for the future.

Dylan, Jacob, Stuart, Cas and Brandon were our key senior players, and each performed well atdifferent times throughout the season. I was particularly impressed by the older boys support of ouryounger players. Most of these boys were having much stronger seasons in grade on Saturdays, butwere inconsistent with their Tavs performances. Dylan was clearly our best performed player for theseason, and captained the side well, particularly in the later rounds. Our biggest up-side for theseason, was the blooding of a number of Under 15s, who showed enough to suggest that they canlead the team over the coming few seasons. Nick, Tom S, Tom C and Ryan in particular held theirown well against their older, more mature, opponents. A special mention also to DK and Jacko, whowere not regular first choice selections most weeks, but came and took on the 12th man duties atgames, and gave their all when the opportunity to play came.

In the last three rounds in particular, the boys started to settle more in their respective roles, and westarted to see stronger results, finishing the season with a tie against a good Sandgate-Redcliffe side, and then back to back one-day wins against Uni and Souths. What shaped as a wasted season earlyon, ended in a strong finish, with plenty of encouraging signs for next year’s Tavs program.

Thank you to Mitch and Rod for their assistance with the coaching of the team, and to John fortaking care of MyCricket. Thanks also to those parents who assisted as required. Mostly though, welldone to the boys for their resilience in a challenging season.

2.10 Over 40’s

Once again we fielded an Over 40’s team, playing once a month, catching up and recalling old storieswhilst at the same time playing a bit of cricket.

This season we only managed 3 games of the possible 5 with a washout and a bye accounting for theother 2 games.

We managed to win 2 and lost a last over thriller in the other so the competitive streak is still aliveand well with the Old Bulls.

Our batting was continually our strong point and in all 3 games we posted scores over 175 from our35 overs. Players have a mandatory retirement at 50 and this allowed most players each week tohave a crack.

The undoubted highlight was the 5-265 vs Sandgate on upon our return to the hallowed turf of KenMackay Oval. Retirements to Michael Rowley (on debut), Peter Clifford and a 70 run stand betweenBrian Bilton and Andrew Knight in the last 6 overs of the innings set a total that was never inquestion. Darren Coutts, Bob McGhee and Michael Barlow turned back the clock with impressivebowling performances, no doubt their bodies suffered the following week.In our final game vs Wests it was the Chris Holding show, runs, Wickets run outs and catches in amagnificent allround display. The rest of us were just support acts with runs for Scott Williams and acouple of late wickets for Andrew Knight.

The over 40’s wouldn’t get on the field without the dedication of Damian Sharry, who each monthmanages to contact players, confirm their availability and at time find others so that we can field aside and enjoy each others company. A huge thank you to this behind the scenes champion. The clubneeds to work out how they can utilise the services of this great cricket administrator and involvehim in the future of the club.

Finally, we are exploring the feasibility of formulating an Old Bulls Network in the coming months, itis hoped that this network will assist the club, its current player, future and past players in a varietyof areas. More details to come!!
