    Oear Mr. Thompson:

Re: Amendment 25 to Application to Operating LicensingNine Mile Point Unit 2Oocket No. 50-410

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.30(c)(l) and your March 29, 1983 letter, enclosed are three originals and 60 copies of Amendment 25 to the Final SafetyAnalysis Report. These changes incorporate certain responses into the text ofthe Final Safety Analysis Report. Also included are changes that haveresulted from our continuing review of these documents.

In the original submittal of the Final Safety Analysis Report on January25, 1983, we requested proprietary status for certain figures in Section 6A inaccordance with 10 CFR 2.790. The September 21, 1983 letter from A. Schwencerto G. K. Rhode approved this proprietary status. Amendment 25 containsupdates to these figures in Section 6A. These updates are marked proprietary.

Enclosed is the Summary of Incorporated Changes. This list is to assistthe Nuclear Regulatory Commission in reviewing Amendment 25.

    Very truly yours,
