III.PURPOSE OF THE STUDY To be able to know someones experience about cigarette smoking and to be able to help them know the effects of smoking to their health and to make them realize the importance of life. IV. REVIEW OFRELATED LITERATURECigarette smoking is the largest preventable risk factor for morbidity and mortality developed in countries. Dramatic changes in the prevalence of cigarette smoking in the second half of this century in the United States have reduced current smoking levels to approximately one quarter of the adult population and have reduced educational achievement, and disadvantaged neighborhood environment. Daily smokers smoke cigarettes to maintain nicotine levels in the brain, primarily to avoid the negative effects of nicotine withdrawal, but also to modulate mood. Regular smokers exhibit higher and lower levels of stress and arousal, respectively, than nonsmokers, as well as higher impulsivity and neuroticism trait values. Nicotine dependence is the single most common psychiatric diagnosis, and substance abuse, major depression, and anxiety disorders are the most prevalent psychiatric comorbid conditions associated with nicotine dependence.Cigarette smoking, hereafter referred to as smoking is the largest single risk factor for premature death in developing countries. V. SUGGESTED SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMSmoking is a bad habit and it is annoying and harmful to people who dont smoke. It harms children who are exposed to it positively. Cigarettes are responsible for around 4.9 million deaths each year. Quitting is not impossible. Here are some suggested solutions. Find a strong inner determination to stop smoking. Be positive and confident that you can successfully quit. Find a medication or a doctor to help you quit smoking. Dont hang out with the friends who smoke or dont go near people who do.
