This project is for finance data management where multiple source system sends file which is of

basically four types. (Finance, Balance, Reference and Non-Finance). We process the data as per

business requirement and load it in multiple tables for reporting purpose with connectivity through

PeopleSoft. This project also consists three ways reconciliation process where exact debited and

credited amount matched for each source system.

Project description:

Metlife is well known US based Insurance company which runs its business across many countries. It

is having its maintenance and support center in pune, India. It has many applications like

Underwriting, policy writing and issuing teams, ARS screens (through which agents can log into their

accounts), ODB and DW, and External Reporting (through which they report to government and

other private Institutes).

The purpose of my application is to maintain the database, history files and endorsements done on

policies (Specially, AUTO and HOME lines of business.) and to load the updated data in data

Warehouse for further functionality.

To load data to Datawarehouse, Informatica (ETL) tool is used.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements, created document for the source to target.

Creating mappings in informatica Designer and running the workflows to load data to data

warehouse

Analyzing the existing code and modifying them according to the needs.

Designed workflows with many sessions with decision, assignment task, event wait, and

different type of insurance product and services to customer from various regions in the entire USA.

The Objective of the Mitigation Plan is to maintain the Customer information to provide Customer

Initiated apps and Health Apps for Operational and Analytical Reports to the Customers.

In this we are extracting the data from different database source systems like oracle and flat files

then loading into target database

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and created document for the source to target mapping for

the ETL development.

Developed standard and re-usable mappings and mapplets using various transformations like

expression, aggregator, joiner, source qualifier, router, lookup, update strategy, et c.

Data quality checking and interacting with the business analysts

Communication with the client for weekly status report and responsible for writing procedures

in Oracle.

Created the unit test cases for mappings developed and verified the data.

Conducted the peer review and debugging for mappings developed and tested.
