 The Contest process The competition will be organized in 4 milestones 1,2,3 and 4 ( 1,2,3 : inter mediary milestones. 4 : final jury ). I n between those milestones you’ ll have intermediary steps A,B,C,D plus a continuous support offered to the teams. We’re presenting those milestones and steps in a chronological order. A. Organized recruitment workshop ( creativity workshops / Hold-Up type ) in Universities and school. Support : - Web Platform allowing matching between motivated participants. Project leaders post their needs and people post their competencies and cities. - Meet-ups between people to put them in the game ambiance - Database about the existing games for research who suceeded or failed ( and why they failed ) - Database about the existing competitions and their characteristics - Starter Kit for the participants to launch their project easily - Information sharing platform ( wiki-like ) 1. Team presents a short presentation : 2 pages presenting : the student team (profiles ), the theme, the problematic, and the interface that are going to be used. B. If there’s too many participants this first ste p will eliminate a number of the participants ( go / No Go ) Support : - Give a mentor to each team for the year to come - find local supports ( machinery to build pieces etc ...) 2. Team present a more detailed report : audience targets, mockup/Snapshots, need in ressources ( time, money, human, competencies ). If they are not well advanced enough, the teams will be helped by mentors and professionals to take their report further. C. The teams who validate milestone 2 will he helped to search for research labs to complete their student team. Support : - Bricks of re-usable modules ( codes...) - Help of people who have free time ( developpers in companies, students in the end of their studies in engineer school ). Code Sprint weekends. 3. A detaile project with a prototype and videos. The project have to become concrete. D. Each time is having a test phase with a portion of t heir target audience. 4. Final Jury

E. Incubation of the winning project. Incubator, help to search for funds, promotion in Scientific reviews.

NightScience - Big Event :

Start : Communication/ Organization : - Website - mailing to all stakeholders ( universities, center of research, hacker space, enterprise...)

to find local relays ( 1 per region / country ) and coordinate.- The relays organized parties, meet-ups, hackatons and distribute communication

supports for the finals.

Competition :

-3 days in Paris @ la villette -The two first days : test in the stands by the official relays ( different from the test inside the partners places )- Testers vote and give their feedbacks - Third day : Presentation using demo games, twitter + facebook live streaming, jury.

5 Different prizes : - research - fun - learn - beta tester prize - gran prize
