What is The Blood Type Diet?
The Blood type diet is a diet based on your blood type. There was one doctor, Dr. Peter D’Adamo who wrote the book Eat Right 4 Your Type.
What to eat on this diet
Since there are a lot of blood types in the world, there are lots of different diets, I’ll work with blood type O.
Foods for Type O?Choose: Lean beef, chicken, fish, turkey, vegetables, and fruit.
Limit: dairy, grains, legumes, and beans.Some specific foods to avoid: avocado, brazil nuts,
oranges, cauliflower, mustard greens, cabbage, brussel sprouts, pork, goose, poppy seeds,
eggplant, corn, melons, coconut, coffee, beer, black tea, ketchup, vinegar, milk, yogurt.
How Many Calories
This diet is more of a healthy eating diet than a weight loss diet. For this diet, you can have the normal 2,000 calories per day, but with only the types of foods that you are “supposed to eat”.
