Nice starting hole. Long Iron or fairway wood off the tee leaves the player with a short iron approach to a slightly elevated green. Good chance for an opening birdie.
Uphill dogleg right par 4. Avoid fairway bunker on left side with tee shot. Landing tee shot on the plateau leaves short iron approach to a very sloping green. Par is a good score.
The shortest par 3… but don’t let that fool you. Guarded by three bunkers with backdrop of Glacier Lake, take your par and go to the next hole.
Straight away par 4 with Glacier Lake down the left and in front of the green. A good drive leaves a mid iron approach to a 2 tiered green. With a good approach on the right level leaves a good chance for a birdie.
Dogleg right. Avoid the bunker on the left side off the tee – it leaves a short to mid iron approach to the flattest green at Pocono Farms. Good chance for a birdie.
Slight dogleg left and uphill. Avoid the bunker on the right side with your tee shot – gives you a chance to go for it in 2. You must stay below the hole on this treacherous green
Dogleg right with an uphill and blind landing area. A good drive leaves a mid iron approach to a long skinny green with 3 levels. Par is a good score on this hole.
A nice downhill par 3. Long to mid iron tee shot to a long skinny very sloped green. Take your par and go to #9
The shortest par 5 with a dogleg right. Avoiding the bunker on the left off the tee will give you a good chance to hit this green in 2 leaving a great chance for a birdie.
The hardest hole at Pocono Farms and in all of the Pocono’s. A very long and narrow hole that requires a great drive that will still leave you a 2nd shot of over 200 yards to a very undulated green – make par here and its like making a birdie.
Straight forward par 3 that requires a mid iron tee shot – again a green that is very difficult. Take your par and go to #12
Downhill straight par 4 with a bunker on the right side. Avoid the bunker off the tee – leaves you with a mid to short iron approach. A good chance for a birdie on this hole.
Dogleg right uphill par 5 that requires avoiding the bunker on the right of the tee leaving a lay up shot short of the cross bunkers to give you short iron approach to a very difficult green. Par is a good score, with the members calling this hole “THE BEAR.”
Uphill dogleg left. Avoid the bunker on the left as well as the hidden pond off the tee to a large landing area leaves the player with a short iron approach to a 2 tiered green. Again, par is a good score.
The longest and hardest par 3 at Pocono Farms. A fairway wood or long iron tee shot to a long green guarded by a bunker on the left and woods on the right. Par is a great score.
Downhill dogleg right par 4. Your tee shot is everything on this hole. You have a hidden creek out about 215 yards off the tee. The player has to decide whether to lay up or go over. A good drive over leaves a mid iron again a very difficult green. Par is a great score on this hole no matter how you play it.
A nice par 5 with water down the left side and woods to the right. Your tee shot must fit between them which will leave a lay up second shot with a mid to long iron staying short of the bunker on the right and water on the left and short of the green. After this is done you will have a short iron to a large two tiered green. A good chance to make a birdie.
Downhill dogleg left with the landing area sloping away from you. Hugging the left side off the tee still leaves the player with a mid iron approach off of a side hill downhill lie to another very difficult green. Make your par and head straight to the 19th hole.
