Greg Fox Platform statement:

“As scientists and engineers, we are at the forefront of ensuring water resource management for human and ecosystem health. We must integrate changing climate, ecosystem functions, water quality, increasing water demand, economics, and human rights into sustainability solutions.

If elected I will work to promote NGWA’s continued leadership in water resource management science and policy by encouraging a multidisciplinary approach to sustainability and engaging young scientists and engineers.”

Miln Harvey, Ph.D., PEPlatform statement:

“A large percentage of the Earth’s population relies heavily on groundwater as a potable water source. But, groundwater is disappearing at an alarming rate because of overuse, and this is exacerbated by increased stresses from climate change. I believe strongly in NGWA’s mission of advancing

groundwater knowledge as an important step in understanding this collective resource, and in helping us to develop solutions that address uncertainty resulting from climate change.”

“Groundwater is an ever increasingly important source of water for citizens across the globe. NGWA’s role in educating its members, the public, and lawmakers on how to properly protect and manage this resource for all will become even more challenging as we move forward. It is here where I believe NGWA, working together with all

divisions, can make the biggest impact across the world.”
